We went to the foraging tour NO TASTE LIKE HOME, and we brought freshly picked wild mushrooms and Mitch and Gaven prepared an Increíble and delicious food, truly espectacular! Mitch and Gaven are the Picasso’s of food creations by taking a few mushrooms freshly picked an hour earlier and creating masterpiece dishes. Wow! Highly recommended the restaurant and the tour.

Love this place! Food is fantastic, service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is awesome. Great place to stop for a meal and a drink while out on the town. They even have a burger challenge where you have to beat the previous record holder's number of burger patties in under 30 minutes. So much fun!

The burger is literally to do for (I apologize for the half eaten photo, I couldn't wait). Fries were delicious and the pickled eggs were great. Our waitress was new but the absolute sweetest. Good vibe and all around top notch place

Stopped in for dinner during our visit to Asheville. It's a small cute bar that offers outside seating and stays open late. We had the pimento cheese, burgers, duck wings, and the best was the oysters. Also, we tried the Cheerwine Sangria which was delicious. Everyone was super nice and helpful. I will definitely be back.

Gem of a restaurant and bar well worth your notice. Aux Bar is a small, comfy spot on North Lexington St. in downtown Asheville nestled among shopping and restaurants. The space offers a nice, small bar, indoor seating, and a pretty, covered outdoor patio seating space. The ambiance is brick and mortar with some funky touches and unique art that make for a fun and relaxing visit. The service is very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The bar has a great selection and skilled capabilities for mixing. The menu is an interesting comfort food offering with amazingly diverse snacks and small plates that can’t help but catch your attention, like Whipped Pimento Cheese with Pork Rinds, Pickled Bar Eggs, Roasted Bone Marrow and Tartare, and NC Catfish Court Bouillon. The larger plates include meat and fish offerings that feel both familiar but interesting. We wished we had the time (and stomachs) to try everything on the menu. Our favorite was by far the Asheville Hot Chicken and Waffle, a stacked pair of hot chicken on a fluffy waffle with a decadently rich butter (pork butter?)—absolutely delicious! The prices are pretty good; overall, I rate Aux Bar as a high value for stellar staff, comfortable and fun ambiance, interesting menu, fantastic food and drinks, and great prices. Highly recommended.

From the guys who brought you Seven Sows, King James and The Blind Pig. How can you not drool just thinking about a meal here?!? The pheasant is my favorite, but the lamb neck and the bone marrow tartare all also killer. Can’t wait for the grills and outdoor “experience” to start up this spring!

Cool retro bar inside, black white and red theme. Awesome outdoor seating that is dog friendly. Food was delicious, kind of pricey, but we were starving and the food came out quickly.
