Cava

I’m a local so I’ve been here several times over the years and it’s usually always a good experience. Fast, healthy, reasonably priced and near my home. Service- tonight it was okay, but not great. I got the vibe from the associate like I’m tired and hurry up. Overall, despite a hit or miss with the customer service, it’s a decent spot to get a fast casual meal.

I highly recommend CAVA in general BUT NOT THIS CAVA. I've gone here about three times now and they have never gotten my order right. I order through their app/website. The first few times I can understand there are genuine mistakes or they are out of a certain topping. But this time I ordered the same bowl I did the last two times and it didn't come with lettuce. I would write it off as an honest mistake again if my boyfriend didn't also order a bowl WITH LETTUCE and received said lettuce. As I write this I realize I sound petty, but I have never had an issue with my countless orders at the CAVA in Ballston, so this is pretty disappointing to me.

I come to this location frequently and the guys that work here give the weirdest proportions. For a bowl, I get about a half scope of rice. When I ask for tomato and onions, I was given two…two! And then when I asked for the garlic dressing, he drowned my bowl! I’m not a confrontational person so I didn’t say anything but this bowl looks disgusting.

I love CAVA in general, but I especially love the CAVA in Roslyn because of the wonderful and kind people that work here. The employees here are so nice, welcoming and generous. They always greet me with a genuine smile and they’re so patient and generous! I always come here when I don’t want to make dinner and it always brightens my day/night. Thank you to the wonderful employees here!

Gave CAVA a try on a Sunday afternoon, when I was in the area for the long holiday, and was really glad that I stopped in. Even though I took the time to read their menu online beforehand (so I knew what types of options were there), I appreciated the help from the employees picking out what I wanted on my salad (since it was my 1st time eating at this brand), and there are plenty of options to choose from. Salad I had made was plenty of food for a good lunch, and they also have a wide selection of beverages to choose from too. I imagine this location gets a lot of business (based on the location) and even on a holiday Sunday weekend there was a steady flow of traffic in & out. And beyond the employees being friendly, the restaurant itself was clean and tidy, and the employees were also taking pandemic safety measures as well (which was appreciated). If I was local, I'd be getting meals from CAVA often - I wish we had food options like this in Ohio!
