The Burger Joint

I ordered the Southwestern Bison Chipotle burger while my friend ordered a Cheeseburger, fried, and a drink. The Southwestern burger was a large, flavourful, juicy burger. It had a soft and chewey bun, a juicy beef patty, a fresh tomato, beans and corn on the bottom bun, and guacamole spread on the top bun. The most noticeable favor was the generous spread of guacamole. It didn't overpower the burger and insisted adden a taste not found in a typical burger. An ingredient that wasn't as noticeable was the melted cheese which didn't contribute to the taste of the burger. Over all, I am very satisfied with my burger and plan on ordering it again. One thing to note about the burger is that it is a very juicy burger, and as a result tends to be pretty messy. If you don't want to have your hands covered in beans and guacamole, I suggest eating the burger with a napkin. My friend rated the Cheeseburger a 3 out of 5 stars and gave the fries a 4 out of five. He wasn't satisfied with his choice of a medium rare patty, but liked the classic feel of the burger.

This is hands-down the best burger place I've ever eaten at. They serve a 6 oz. patty cooked to order (mine was a perfect medium as ordered). The staff couldn't have been nicer. They were happy to answer my questions and were very helpful. They are so much better than 5 guys they are in a class of their own.

This place is the burger place that the Gods would go to, if they weren't in Valhalla. BGR makes Five Guys look like a happy meal that was slapped on the floor and served to the masses. Each burger is cooked to order to perfection. You want a raw burger? They'll slap that uncooked 1/2 lb patty on a bun with the condiments and toppings to your liking. The potatoes used for their fries are hand selected from the garden of Eden, next to the apple tree. You want it well done and gross? Go to Five Guys. Anyone that respects a great burger needs to go here. Nothing else compares.

The staff of guys was really friendly and made the food good and fast. We ate inside and everything was shiny and beautiful. They also made it a point to say goodbye which I thought was nice too. I forgot too get video cause I was eating, but they also had album covers and a diner look which was cool.

Update 4/14/22 Was here with my family and it is the same great burgers (ordered the way you want it) and service - very pleased they survived this pandemic and continue to make the best burgers in town. Thank you! I love BGR and this spot is no exception - the best burgers in town. They are pretty consistent. I come here once in a while to meet a friend who lives close by. Im disappointed the old town alexandria closed down but a little relieved this one is not too far away - definitely further but I dont mind the drive from my house.
