Kebab Cafe

Compact space with six tables and some stools next to harbor freight tools. Order at the counter from somewhat confusing menu. Fast food served on plastic with metal fork, beverages in cans or bottles or a plastic glass. Food is fresh and flavorful. There are hot sauces available in squeeze bottles, if you ask, there are sauces and flatbread on the side menu. The red pepper sauce in the stainless cup is mild. Hummus taziki and baba ganoush are all good. They don't make their own flatbread there, but they make their own falafel and it's very good. The habanero hot sauces with or without mango are homemade and pretty good. Staff of three are friendly and efficient. Food came out pretty fast with several other people there at lunch. We ordered lamb on a dinner plate, baba g with an extra bread and falafel sandwich with a cola for about forty bucks. I'll try the falafel burger next time.

This place has a welcoming atmosphere, with friendly and helpful staff. The gyro was tasty, though it didn't quite match the level of Spiro's Heroes in Ukiah, but it was still very enjoyable. However, the fried cheese, priced at $7, might not meet expectations in terms of portion size, as evident in the accompanying picture.

A good place for a kebab craving. We ordered a dinner upgrade which includes rice, diced tomato, cucumbers, onions and cabbage. Then we ordered meat to go on top: beef, pork, chicken, lamb as well as grilled veggies. We also ordered falafel which was nice and crispy. All were pretty tasty, came with extra dipping sauce and two hot sauces. Service was friendly.

The Kebab Cafe is in a small strip mall with easy access from the highway and plentiful parking. There are only a few tables, but most were getting orders to go. The gyros sandwich was presented on a fresh baked pita with a good portion of well-cooked and tasty meat and plenty of veggie toppings. I opted for the red sauce, CA instead of the traditional tzatziki sauce. It was spicy, but not too hot and added a nice flavor. The tabouli was good, with a nice blend of lemon tartness and minty freshness. All the veggies were fresh and crisp. The staff was nice and the service prompt. Great spot to stop on a road trip when you've already had too much fast food or burgers.

This is my favorite place for medeterranian food and it is high quality flavor and ingredients. My only wish is that it were not so dearly expensive; I spend around fifty just on myself because I absolutely need a little bit of everything when I go--its all too tasty to choose only one thing. Because of this I only go a couple times a year, but it's very worthwhile and the people are awesome!

Counter service excellent. Greeted by cooks upon entry. Guided through menu selection. Turkish meatball sandwich and some other sandwich, both excellent. Served with side sauces, chili and taziki. Candy bar with sesame nougat. Fresh made pita bread with an eggplant garlic dipping sauce. Yum on all accounts! Going back to experiment with other menu adventures.
