Mary was a kick-a@@ waitress who took care of us and hustled to take care of the entire restaurant. She was the only on the floor and bartended as well, in between taking and serving orders.

Came in late evening with my son after bicycling from Hart MI. Had two cold beers, olive burger and tater tots. My son had all you can eat spaghetti. Both were exceptionally tasty. Owner sat down and talked about life and his career. He’s quite interesting and has some great stories to tell. Be sure to tell him Alex and Tom from Fort Wayne IN said “hello “!!

Better than you'd anticipate from the bleak location and exterior. Typical bar food, but quality is very good to excellent. Went back twice.

Got 6 excellent hot chicken wings with fries and coleslaw for $8.50. My wife got personal pizza with 4 toppings $7.00 ! Was quite lively on Wednesday about 6pm. Local pickleball group partying. Hilarious! The waitress got our order in before the group. Good find. Happy hour 4-6pm. We got coffee for drive back to Lansing.

The all-you-can-eat fish dinner was hot, fresh, and perfectly prepared! The staff, as well as the customers, were inviting and friendly. We truly enjoyed our dinner!

The Big Apple is a roadside mom & pop type of restaurant serving good basic food with great service.
It looks like a gathering place for locals who enjoy the fish fry Fridays.
I had a BLT that was loaded with bacon & my husband had wings. Both were good but basic & not overpriced. There is a full bar & a room devoted to billiards. I'm sure this is a happening place on weekends & during the summer.
