Charleys Philly Steaks

Great food, but poor work ethic from employees. They never stay open for the entire 7 hours that they are open. Quite sad as the job is not hard and I know this from experience managing fast food myself. I would never let my employees slack off and get paid for standing around and doing nothing for their last 1 to 2 hours they were supposed to be open and providing food service like they should. They are the only fast food in the mall that never closes they will. I have shown up at 5pm and the hours for them is to close at 6. They closed the register on me and said they close at 5. Clearly I show them the hours saying they have an hour till they close. They had the audacity to tell me that they did not care that I was waiting patiently in line and decided to deny service because they didn't want to work anymore for the day. Worst service and managed fast food place I have ever encountered. Most of their employees would be fired for what you can't even call a work ethic as well as the young men who are disrespectful of customers. This has always been their MO, bad employees and almost fully cooked soggy food.

I've always had good experiences dining with Charley's :) Always fulfills the cheese steak cravings! Today I had a wonderful experience with the employees working, as I realized I did not have a full form of payment. They were kind and patient with me! Thank you for understanding that mistakes happen and for treating me so well in such an embarrassing instance. Keep up the great work

Pros: Very friendly staff working the fryer and cashier. Cons: Big disappointment and dissatisfaction was seeing the small amount of fries for several of my orders of "large" fries packed in boxes! Too LITTLE quantity of fries to be justifiably called "large". I ordered $20 worth and was left wanting. Not only were they scarce, they were soggy from being undercooked. Without the special toppings, the fries are just that...Plain soggy fries. Not even salted. I regret I didn't go to Mad Chicken a few windows down for their waffle fries, thinking Charleys fries MAY be of good quality. I stand corrected. I will not be ordering fries from here ever again.

They were very rude. Calling me deaf because I couldn’t hear them over the loud noise they also couldn’t hear me because it was very loud. And they were being very pushy…. We were also waiting for them to fill up a drinks and as we were trying to grab them cause our hand were full… they rudely asked us to move.
