Avis sur Appleton Beer Factory

Stopped in with my partner because the place looked nice. We decided to get a pizza and try a few beers. The pizza was pretty good and the beers were excellent! The bartender John was a little standoffish but was serving us none the less. After a while he made a very rude comment about us holding hands and said maybe you guys you should think about leaving after this one. I don't want to say what he actually said but I can't believe they hire homophobes here! There are other places that are much more welcoming to a diverse crowd.

Our son got married on Saturday and we had the rehearsal dinner here on Friday evening. It was perfect. The taco bar was a hit. The pork, beef and shrimp were hot and delicious. The friendly staff kept it refilled as people went back for seconds. The atmosphere was fun and casual. Thanks to Mark for his help getting it set up for us. Oh, and all our guests enjoyed the many brew options too. Thanks Appleton Beer Factory!

I live in Oshkosh, but I happily drive to Appleton to visit ABF. I love the uniqueness of their beers - I’m especially loving the Say Hi Chai, a porter infused with vanilla chai tea. With the health benefits of chai, I like to joke it’s a health drink. ;-) Their food is amazing too, and if you’re obsessed with fries like me, their housemade fries will definitely satisfy the spud-lover in you. I recently attended a comedy night and honestly, I haven’t laughed that hard in a really long time - what an awesome line-up! I’ve enjoyed all the events they’ve put on and can’t wait to attend more shows as pandemic restrictions lift. Oh, and the staff there are super chill, engaging and fun to chat with, especially after a couple (delicious) beers in!
