Cold Stone Creamery

Completely wrong order. I ordered a peanut butter cup perfection and got something with brownies, fudge and chocolate chips. For someone who doesn't like chocolate, it was a complete waste of money. Very disappointed. My husband and I ordered, in person, around 9:15 pm on Saturday, July 9 at the Apex, NC location. How can someone get an order so wrong when I looked the young lady in the eyes and told her my order?

Disappointing. Its more like frozen Cake. We ordered a small with waffle cone which cost more because it was a Signature flavor, tasted like mashed up cake, my son did not like his either, very bland frozen cake. I would not call this ice cream. 2 smalls and a soda $19. We will not be back again, there are way better options for less money without the price bait and switch.

We arrived at 9 pm after google said they close at 10, however doors are shut and locked, employees cleaning everything. The time displayed on the door said they closed at 10 pm as well. When peering through the window, an employee just looks at us and shakes their head. I understand when it’s dead you’d want to get a head start on cleaning. But an hour early?? Disappointing to say the least. Either they decided to close way too early or their times changed and google wasn’t updated.

Poor customer service. Seems like the establishment is hiring a bunch of teens that do not care about the presentation of the products made. Went in tonight for a regular Surrender to Strawberry in a waffle cone bowl. The young man (blond hair) basically scooped a tiny amount of ice cream, added 2 strawberries, and a tiny piece of cake and made a poor attempt to mix up the creamery. Then puts this mixture into a waffle cone, although I said waffle bowl. Then, scoops the very loose creamery out of cone to transfer iinto a bowl. Leaves a good amount of ice cream in the cone and gives me this poor excuse of a bowl of creamery mush. A peer (a female with blonde hair) interjects herself after I say, “ I feel like a good amount of ice cream was left in the cone”. She then says, “ what size did you get?”. I answer, “regular”….She then says “ yes, that’s definitely our regular amount”. She then scoops up a tiny (maybe a teaspoon) worth of ice cream and mixes it up and adds it to my bowl. All that I can say is WOW!!!!!! I just had no words. I live in the community where this shop is and often go there, but that changes today. 8.00 dollars for a poor excuse of what was supposed to be tonight’s desert. Wasn’t even worth eating and went into the trash. Poor representation of how to respectfully treat anyone. Shame on the managers of the Apex, NC store for leaving your business to children to run. Ones that do not care about your customers, reputation or store.
