Ihop

It's an IHOP, so pretty standard fair if you've been to one before. Breakfast and lunch specials that rotate seasonally. Good place for a relatively cheap breakfast served all day. They recently discontinued the Harvest Grain Nut pancakes there, which is a shame as they were one of my favorite items to get. Overall clean, fast service, and friendly staff. Will be returning next time I'm craving a quick breakfast in Apex. Hope the next menu change will have something worthwhile to replace the harvest grain nut pancakes.

Only 2 other tables were occupied when we walked in, yet we waited for our food long after 3 or 4 other tables who arrived after us. My son ordered a bacon cheeseburger without lettuce, tomato or onions, and because another IHOP location got this order wrong in the past, we reiterated the specifics several times. But after the 45-minute wait, the burger came with no bacon. I ordered scrambled eggs, which were more like an overcooked, empty omelet folded over itself (see photo). My daughter got chocolate pancakes with uncooked batter in the middle (see photo). My wife's BLT had a scant amount of bacon, so it was basically a lettuce and tomato sandwich that she had to wait 45 minutes for. Every order was either wrong or poorly made, and it came after an excessive wait, with no checking in from the server. It was a team failure, and we won't be back. We're typically excellent tippers, but on this rare occasion I wrote "not today" on the tip line.

I ordered the weekday breakfast special--2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 sausage, and hash browns. The hash browns were nicely browned but not particularly flavorful. (Remedied with s&p and ketchup.) The pancakes and sausage were good. The eggs--over easy-- were a bit underdone for me. Service was fast and friendly. Overall, I got what I expected. For your money, it's a good breakfast.

First time in an IHOP, in I don't know how long. I was surprised that the coffee was alright - nothing to write home about, but not terrible. The eggs were cooked perfectly, pancakes and bacon delicious, and the waiter pleasant. Took a little longer to get the food than we would have liked but, overall fairly pleased with the experience.

Ive been here before this trip and I don't think it has ever been this bad. My sons pancakes were stale and the flavor was awful. They tasted bitter. My burrito bowl had been microwaved and was missing half of the items that were supposed to be on it according to their menu. The rice and chicken were dry and chewy because of them putting it in the microwave and the avocado was completely rotted. The only thing I enjoyed was the coffee and my company. This will be the last time I come here.

I ordered the T-bone Steak w/ Eggs & Hash. The waitress asked me, how would I like my steak? And I asked her to surprise me. The waitress was 5⭐'s great. She had my steak cooked exactly but better than I normally would have my steak. She made my daughter enjoy her experience at IHop. Lately, it's been hard to give good reviews but this review was week deserved.

We got to the place at 8pm. An hour before closing. We waited a while before someone greeted us. We were told they were not seating customers only taking to go orders. There was one table in the entire restaurant and they may have been employees. So we settled on ordering Togo and then they were out of several items. Extremely disappointing. Post signs up date your hours of operations. Something to let people know. If you can cook and there are 2 floor employees, you can seat customers.

Haven't been to an IHOP in years. This morning I needed to be near one and decided pancakes would be perfect! New item - Lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes. Lemon ricotta pancakes are my favorite and I love blueberries - heaven, right? NO - they are awful. After 4-5 bites I threw the remaining 3/4 of the pancakes in the trash!! Now I am really hungry 😋 😕
