Curry Masala

This must be the least corporate place in the entire mall. It was phenomenal! They made my dad's shrimp curry fresh; the shrimp were perfectly cooked and plentiful. The chicken dish I ordered was just right. And the naan, while not quite as fresh-out-of-the-tandoor as some places I've visited, was still puffy and crisp in equal measure -- and tasted great. To echo every other review, this is not at all what I expected from a food court. I hope they stick around.

I got the rice with the choice of 4 entrée like toppings for $7.99. It was enough food to feed me twice so the price was really good in my opinion. Considering this is in a food court, the food was adequate. Not what I would expect in a sit down restaurant, but this is mall food so it's pretty good in that aspect. However, they don't offer bread with their meal, like so many other places. So if you want bread with your meal you'll end up paying close to $4 extra for the addition. I saw later that they have a roach problem so I’ll never eat here again.

I'm usually a big fan of Indian food but I found this place lacking. Maybe the outrageous prices had an effect on my taste buds. I had butter chicken and palak while there and my meal was $17 and some change. $17!!! Holy crud. I've gone out and gotten 2 sets of salad, rice, 3 sides and a drink at that price at other Indian restaurants with better flavor. That would cost over $60 at this place. I found that the butter chicken tasted very watered down too.
