Wooooow! Sooo good. Their cupcakes are so decadent. Their ice cream is delicious and their milkshakes are everything! I love how they have logo'd packaging for everything. If you're in the market for cupcakes or a cake for any occasion... this is the place. We stopped by here mainly bc of the reviews and it did not disappoint. Worth the trip.

For $13+ for 3 cupcakes one would expect delicious homemade/made from scratch amazing small cakes. Not so folks...these are clearly box or mix made! Even the icing tastes as if from a can or some bag mix. What a rip! So...do not get fooled as I did by the adorable shop, trappings. Its all fake. For a few $ you can make your own fake cakes and probably doctor them up better. As for me, its scratch made all the way, no boxes ever.

Smallcakes cupcakes are soooooooo delicious!!! I wanted to grab some better than store brand cupcakes for my husband's birthday and they did not disappoint. The cake is so moist and soft, the icing is wonderful and they are larger than a regular cupcake. We had the strawberry milkshake(i think that's the name), decadent chocolate, birthday cake, and wedding cake. It was perfect10, I will be going back back.

You have to try this place!!!! I have wanted to write this review for awhile and it always slips my mind but not today! First, I like to call myself a cupcake consoeur. I love them. The past few years we have tried every cupcake in the Annapolis area, yet we always come back to SmallCakes. I have seen a few reviews saying the cupcakes are too moist, and boxed. I can always tell a boxed cupcake and this is not that. Of course they are moist, who wants to eat a dry cupcake. They are the perfect balance. They are also heavy and huge ( you will be full after eating one). Icing, there have been a few flavors we thought the icing was too sweet. But even if we thought the icing was sweet, the cake is amazing on its own. Red Velvet and Carrot Cake ones are to die for!!! Customer Service!!! So kind. So helpful. Service with a smile. It keeps us coming back. I don't feel like an inconvenience when I come here. Genuinely happy people who love there job. Price... They cost the same as any other place in Annapolis and beyond. The difference.... is Smallcakes cupcakes are huge compared to all other locations. It's a noticeable difference. You get more for your money here and the quality is way better. The taste is amazing. Service impeccable. I urge you to try them out. You will not be disappointed!!

If I can rate no stars I would. The communication is TERRIBLE. Whatever policy they have nobody is on the same page about it. If you ordering for a party I would not recommend. It’s cupcakes it shouldn’t be that difficult. They keep wanting you to email the person who doesn’t even decorate the cupcakes. It’s a lot of confusion and miscommunication. Then they ask me to come in then I come in an the person at the counter said I don’t know why they told you on the phone to come in, when everything is threw email. The thing is I ordered last year an had no problems at all an everything was confirm over the phone. I will never be back again. They should work on a new policy an make sure all the employees are on the same page. Very disappointed. I went to Laurel cupcakes an they handled everything on the phone it took no more then 5 min.
