Broadneck Grill

I really wanted to like this place. I didn't try the fish tacos that I was told were good. My margarita was fine and the taquito app. Was fine but that's where the fun stopped. My enchiladas were bordering on burnt and had very little flavor beyond the burnt taste even the rice on the same plate was bordering on cold while the beans tasted scorched like the enchiladas. The crowning issue though was what came with the app. 6 taquito that were quite tasty but they came with less tomato and sour cream combined than they did guacamole. When we asked for more sour cream we were surprised to find we were charged an extra dollar when we were given less than a spoonful to start. Worthy of note was when we asked about chips and salsa? This is the only restaurant serving Mexican food in the vicinity of Annapolis I've ever seen charge for chips and salsa? Quite honestly Tequila Sunrise on West st. in Annapolis serves much better food at less cost. There are of course others that do too but having eaten at Tequila Sunrise recently this restaurant in Cape st. Claire was really disappointing.

Today it was such a delightful experience. Several weeks ago, I left a dismal review of their Sunday breakfast. Since that time, the owner met with me and discussed changes, so that would never happen again. I live nearby and have frequented this restaurant for over ten years. Today was one of the best meals I have had at this establishment. I ordered the rack of ribs. The food was prompt, hot, delicious and well prepared. The cheese enchilada melted in my mouth, just overflowing with cheese. The ribs were meaty and well proportioned. The wait staff was attentive and promptly refilled my Ice tea. What a meal. Absolutely well prepared with quality food. I look forward to eating here over and over into the future.

Food was good. Service as slow, but very polite and apologetic. The server was not familiar with their menu. Crab cakes were listed as market value, so we asked the waiter what the current price was... and found out when we got our bill that they were priced considerably higher than what the waiter told us they cost.
