Mancinos Pizzas And Grinders

Normally, we have always had good food at Mancino's on Zeeb Road... pizza and grinders mostly. We enjoy getting a pizza and beer and relax. On our visit last weekend, we ordered our usual pizza and it came out with the cheese all burnt on top, we couldn't really find our 4 toppings (Italian sausage, salamni, black olives, green peppers), and it was a thin crust that we didn't order. It was terrible, but we were hungry and didn't say anything to the owner. We've never had a problem for years, enjoy going there, and now this. We won't be back for awhile, that's for sure, especially after spending $42 for pizza and a pitcher of beer. Even our remaining half of the large leftover pizza wasn't any better and we had to throw it away. I feel bad leaving this review but felt I needed to. 😫

Veteran-owned veteran operated, it's Italian restaurant is and its own class in Ann Arbor. You won't find many restaurants the small that offer beer and wine oh, well also being carry out, and affordable. With varying sizes and prices of food everyone in the family will find something good to eat. Order in and enjoy the classic 1940's Style posters and pictures and ads. Or get it to go and carryout. Either one you will be glad that you enjoyed this wonderful restaurant.

Had the best calzone of my life at this place today. Crispy outside crust, beautifully soft inside crust with just enough cheese, sauce, and pineapple. My friend opted for a steak and cheese grinder which he also thoroughly enjoyed. It seemed overloaded with steak (there was plenty left over on the plate for another half a sandwich when he was done. The people were nice and friendly to us out-of-towners. I'll have to come back this way again soon for sure!

I often get cravings for the grinders here, especially the club. Salty hot goodness, and the bun is exactly the right texture. A little on the pricey side but worth it in occasion for sure. BTW, be nice when they let you know that red meat products have increased in price. Choose the chicken and be glad they made dinner for you.

Sandwiches are good, but pizza is not as good as the price suggests. Generally takes me a long time to get my food there. I get a lot of Coney Island vibes when I eat here. Way too much seating and good space for the kind of volume they do. I really wish they would have more of a Buffalo Wild Wings "evening out for sports" vibe. But alas Good grinders though. I keep coming back for those sweet sweet grinders

Good food. Typical Mancino grinders, salad and pizza... as well as sides and dessert options. Order was correct and ready in 10 minutes. Good as always. Customer service is ok... nothing great but nothing bad, either. The cashier took our order, we paid, waited 10 min for food and left with supper in hand!
