Jet's Pizza

I truly need to express how thankful/grateful I am for the manager on duty who assisted me with my order today. I am sure he has had to deal with so much. So many workers are struggling to work short-staffed, paid far less than they are worth. Nevertheless, this manager went above and beyond. I am just sorry I didn't catch his name so I can credit him properly. I placed my order, and was told an estimate due to a lack of delivery drivers, they would need to use doordash. The time came and went so I called for an update. I was told the order had gone out but shouldn't have taken more than 10 minutes to get there. It was well past that. I was then told a new order would be made and sent out. Well, I got my food but the manager had personally ensured I would receive it. He went above and beyond to make sure my order was filled, and I just can't say how much I appreciate it, him taking the time to make sure my lunch was delivered to me. Thank you!

They don't deserve any star, they are the worst customer service ever, we placed an order around 7:45 pm April 29th 2022 and we told them we want to pick it up at 8:15 pm, we got there to find out the order is not placed from the beginning, we had to place the order again with them being rude and not fixing the problem one of the pizza supposed to be a round one he came out of the back asking if it was square i told him no one small one had to be round his reaction was, well I'll have to place the order again and start over because i already stated with them, my kids were in the car for more than one hour i had to accept whatever they made so i can leave back to my kids. I hate you guys and I'll never shop there and i promise I'll make sure anyone i know not to go there for a life time i left the store at 9:15

Hands down the worlds best pizza. No Joke. I have lived and sampled pizza everywhere, been in Chicago for 6 years and I am a big pizza fan. Growing in Belleville I am particular to the Detroit deep dish and I tell you nobody does it better than Jets. How anyone can give this less than 5 stars I have no clue. the cheese is outstanding, the pepperoni is supherb in seasoning and perfectly thin and crispy on the outer edges of concave disc.

I called because they forgot to add crust topping, the kid who answered the phone said he just needed to get approval from manager to remake. The manager gets on the phone his firsts words are "what's going on?" And as I start to answer he talks over me saying he can't give me a refund (which is not what I was asking for) and they won't remake the pizza. I said that's very disappointing cause I still order from you guys cause in the past you've remade when you make it wrong. He immediately accuses me of being disrespectful while talking over me. Used to be a twice a week thing. No more.

Edit: sadly Jet's has lost touch with customers... twice they forgot Turbo crust... first time I called to tell them, but opted to keep it. Next time they told us off for being disrespectful and we were nothing but respectful... Friday with Jets no more:( Previous review: Best Pizza... I have lived all over the country...had pizza everywhere. I lived in Chicago 6 years and ate countless deep dishes there... they rock! But, and let me tell you straight... there is NOTHING better than a Detroit deep dish... and Jets freaking nails it and then some! The cheese is top notch, sauce is perfect, crust with a bit of a Turbo addition is un-freaking real. I am a local and now hooked for life.

First, I want to say when Jet's gets it right, it's nearly perfect pizza. However, there's always a myriad of problems with the food, delivery, or something else. The quality of the food seems to vary drastically from order to order. Sometimes it will be undercooked, while the next time it will essentially flooded with a pound of sauce (even after requesting none). Drivers don't follow specific requests such as calling instead of knocking as hard as possible. When I've asked for contactless delivery, they still knock and wait for me to come to the door. I've had a guy get mad at me for not hearing him knock, when he specifically didn't call me, even though I asked for it. Also, sides like ranch are often missing which leads to further frustration. Half the time their website isn't working, and when it does, delivery can literally be up to 2 hours. It's like they want you to order somewhere else. To top it all off, they recently upped their delivery fee to $10. I'm not sure what it was before, but it was a couple dollars at most. So now you're paying a ton of money for lackluster service, poor food quality, and potentially missing items.
