So excited they are back open! The cupcake I got was delicious! My friend got a black bean sandwich that I can’t wait to go back and get one all to myself!

Everything is delicious; each kind of sourdough varietal, each flavor Macron, all the cakes and sandwiches! Been in Anchorage for a week and have gone back to this bakery multiple times. We have 3 more days in Anchorage so probably 3 more trips to this bakery.

Excellent little neighborhood bakery, part of the growing Fire Island family - there are now three locations. The original and largest location is near downtown off G street. This spot is smaller, you might call it cozy. The baked goods are among the best in town, the cinnamon rolls (weekends only at this location) are my favorite. They have coffee, but not a full blown espresso bar. Not a lot of seating, peak times can be crowded. Not really an ideal spot to plug in your laptop and get work done, although I'm sure you could if you wanted to. It's a better place to just relax with some good stuff.

Service was great, small and intriguing variety of baked goods.
I had a couple of macarons and they were both delicious. I also had a couple chocolate chip cookies and they were just okay.

In my opinion the best muffins made in Anchorage are right here at Fire Island Rustic Bakeshop.
There are three locations, but I was told the Über Blueberry Muffins are made here.
This location is smaller, so seating is limited. The parking lot can also be a little tight, so consider parking on the street if busy.

Everything is remarkable and mesmerizing!!!! I visit and eat the best food ever, then find myself thinking about it less than a few days later. Do not go if you don't want to be changed forever. Customer service is always exceptional!

This place has the MOST AMAZING things. The seafood bisque is 😚👌 and they have rustic bread to go with it. They also have such fun cakes and tarts and rolls. My favorite place to go in Anch.
