Happy Kitchen

Ordered some food thru doordash. It was ready quick,got to us fast. It was very hot and fresh. So flaverful. Just what we wanted. We got kung pao chicken,it was just the right amount of spice. We also got a ton of fried rice, potstickers and BBQ pork. It was all tasty. Would order here again. Excellent job.

Food is delicious, but the person who takes the order does not fully understand english. It makes it hard to customize your order. I like the fried rice there but I dont like the bean sprouts that are put into it. Since the lady doesn't understand english it's hard to communicate that they should exclude it from my order

Nice Chinese option in the OC. Usually we have to go to the San Gabriel valley to get our Chinese food when we want a quality dish, but Happy Kitchen is satisfying our cravings now. The dishes are reasonably priced and quality is good, more authentic than other OC Chinese spots. The only drawback is the wait time. There are very few hands on deck, and expect to wait a while when the restaurant is busy. The owner is nice and professional, and they don't ask to be tipped (like in real China). Overall, a great small family business that I love to support. Update: we visited recently during business hours (11 am) to buy a hot soup for our sick daughter, only to find that the shop was closed. Upon calling the number listed online, the owner said she was at home and would open up that day at 1pm. I still like the food and family atmosphere, but this is minus 1 star, down to 4.
