The best chicken bowl around - full stop.

The food was great as expected. What impressed me though was the excellent customer service that I received. Karen the person behind the counter was polite and professional. I know this business and to greet someone with a genuine smile and happy attitude is not easy when she was obviously multitasking to assist several customers. Outstanding. Very impressed.

There aren't enough of these around. They're often better than the neighborhoods that they are in. I hope they can stay in business. You get very basic good things here, beef or chicken with brown rice and green onions. You don't find that by itself just anywhere.

I'm a big fan of the Flame Broiler. You can't go wrong when mixing chicken, beef and rice, whether it be brown or white rice. However, now it's all about timing. If you go after the lunch rush, the meats are totally fresh due to the fact that everything has just been made. A colleague and I went to the Flame Broiler on Ball Road in Anaheim just before 2pm, we had to wait a little bit for the freshly delicious meats to finish cooking, but it was worth the wait!
