Old Towne Pizza

Olde Town has been serving Amherst and the surrounding area for decades. It is one of the few dine in pizza joints featuring a nice menu variety as well as a full bar menu. I ordered the Steak Foldover. First let me say that it's big and will feed at least 2 people, or even 3 depending on how hungry your party is. The dough was perfectly cooked and the cheese was plentiful. Every cut got a fresh tomato and lettuce. I felt the steak was significantly under seasoned however. A side of sub sauce or Italian dressing to drizzle over would have made a massive improvement. The thing that disappointed me most however was the mushrooms came from a can/jar. With the fresh dough, lettuce,and tomatoes I would have expected the mushrooms to be fresh as well. Being canned somewhat detracted from the overall flavors and made fold over feel cheap compared to it's premium price. While I will likely return to Olde Town Pizza House, I unfortunately cannot recommend the steak folder over.

This was our first time at this restaurant. OMG this is the best place in Cleveland! This is the quintessential home town chain of ONE restaurant and everything is fantastic! The owner is a great guy and his staff is excellent. The food is super delicious and the drinks are a knockout! What a great place! We already can't wait to come back!
