Clean, simple, and straightforward. This world-class roaster provides excellent small batch coffee in a mostly comfortable atmosphere. This is a must-stop for those traveling through Amarillo.

I visited this place after the Austin Film Festival in 2019. Coming back through Amarillo less than two months later I find it closed. It had great coffee, great atmo; honestly it felt a world apart. Very sad. (Average rating 4.7 stars after 253 reviews? How did this happen?? #canthavenicethings)

This is a very nice third wave coffee shop/roaster. The decor is simple and hip and the coffee I had was top notch! Evocation is definitely worth a very slight deviation off of the interstate to be able to enjoy some nice specialty coffee on an arduous cross country venture. The presentation was very nice too, I like their cool slightly off center coffee cups. I left a picture of how the pour over is served.

Good coffee and relaxing atmosphere. We ordered an Ethiopian pour over and an iced maple latte. Also bought a bag of beans for home.

I'm not sure exactly what I can add to all of the other five star reviews other than they're spot on. This place is a rare coffee gem, and is located in the unlikely town of Amarillo. While I am rarely in this part of the state, I never pass through without visiting. The care and passion for coffee they have is put into every drink they serve, and you'll never leave disappointed. This might be the best coffee in Texas and is worth driving out of your way for.

Visited Evocation Coffee for the first time on July 2nd. The baristas made my stop excellent and everything was spot on! The Sidama Ardi espresso, the Costa Rica Don Sabino pour over, and the late. So tasty! I'll be stopping here any time I'm passing through Amarillo!

No doubt the best shop in Amarillo. Amazing to find such a top notch third wave shop in a smaller town. The service is consistently incredible and the dedication to precision and detail in coffee is impressive. Highly recommend!

Loved everything we got. I enjoyed a choclate latte, we also had a wonderful pour over and a maple latte. Forgot til half way through with drink.
