Huddle House

I have been here a couple of times and plan on going back a few more times because the food is always delicious and hot. The wait staff is always attentive and our orders have been correct. Due to celiac disease from a couple of members of my family they are always extra careful not to do any cross-contamination as they have to be gluten free. So they cater to you more so than other locations. Very friendly staff. Love it

Had a very bad experience. First, waitress had set part of our food order on another customer's table and then instead of preparing another order, picked it up from their table and brought it back to us!! That is very unsanitary. But then to top it off before we left, one of the waitresses brought their child in and let their child sit at the bar and play with the toothpicks that they use to put in sandwiches, etc., as well as playing with the silverware and napkins that they had set on the bar apparently to use for customers. This is SO UNSANITARY. With the sicknesses and diseases that are going around, how do we know this child (who apparently wasn't in school at the time we were there), wasn't sick. A restaurant is NOT the place for people to bring their children and leave them unsupervised to play with the utensils, etc., that are being given to the customers to eat with. We let the manager know how we felt and that we wouldn't be back, but not sure that will prevent future similar incidents. Was really disappointed in this Huddle House. We visit the Huddle House in Baxley often and have always received good service there, so was really shocked with our experience at this Huddle in Alma. Again, will never be back. You make your own decision.

Some friends and I (we are all from out of town) came and ate at this sad excuse of a restaurant last night. Service was slow but we understood because there was one waitress and they were busy so we were patient. The waitress was honestly the rudest human being I’ve ever been around. She made a snarky comment to a coworker about a friend of mine who simply asked for silverware after a salad had just been dropped off at our table... Talkign about “why do they need silverware right now they can wait like everyone else”. She had literally just given me a salad was I supposed to eat with my hands? The produce was horrible by the way but that’s a whole other issue... If you hate your job so much you need to work somewhere else. I’ve waited tables and I work retail. You have to leave your problems at the door even when it’s busy otherwise you don’t make money and your attitude gets worse. Either do better or like I said find somewhere else to work. There’s no need to take your issues out on guests ESPECIALLY when they were nothing but respectful to you first. If anyone knows a corporate number for Huddle House please let me know because I really want to report her. I didn’t get her name but she was a bigger girl with glasses and short light brown hair. Disrespectful. Glad we don’t live around there.

Huddle House is a well-known establishment especially in the south. Most of the time you know what you want to get just good ole country food at the decent price you want I went to an Alma wasn't crowded services very good people were friendly for a quick bite or something sweet to eat good little place stop highly recommend the morning now wasn't crowded service is great food was good

This Huddle House has not been one of my favorites ever since my omelette had so much grease I could spoon it off my plate, but finding a disgusting penny in my daughter's Oreo pancake (that she had already eaten some of) was just too much last night. I'm very unhappy! Someone should just count themselves lucky that she didn't find it while eating and choke on it!
