Pei Wei

Went here for dinner with my husband tonight. Everything tasted fine until I got to the last piece of chicken. It seemed alittle too chewy so I went and looked at the chicken and it was still raw in the middle! I’m immunocompromised so this is very disappointing. I definitely will not be eating here again. This is a huge health hazard and just downright disgusting.

We love to eat at Pei Wei. It’s inexpensive, high-quality and fast. As a matter of fact that’s my only complaint. Too fast when ordering an appetizer to eat before the meal. None of the staff can seem to figure out how to delay the main meal instead of serving the appetizer and mains at the same time. We now follow their suggestion and order the edamame and drinks. When it is served then I go back and order the mains. It’s the only way to enjoy the meal properly apparently. Most of the time the counter staff is mostly young high school kids so I understand.

I had the best experience today for lunch. I went to this Pei Wei and Jose waited on me. He was very kind and he took care of me with my order and then brought it out to me. I was a walk in order. Plus this location was the best Pei Wei I have ever had. So tasty and fresh. I got utensils with soy sauce and I never get soy sauce at other locations. It was an overall great experience. The food is good, but the staff is not. The last time I was there, the curbside pickup went ignored because they said the signs kept blowing down. They just didn't tell anyone. This time, the signs were up, but after waiting 15 minutes, I went inside. The girl told me the tablet wasn't working. But, they still refused to put up signs telling people to go inside. They weren't that busy, & for 15 minutes, I was the only car sitting out there. I finally went in to pick up my food,, which had been sitting there for a while. The girl picked up my sack & sort of tossed in my direction onto the counter. One of my pet peeves is saying thank you to someone who should have been saying it to you for patronizing their store. While I was checking my order, another car.pulled up to the curbside spaces. This time, someone ran out to get her name, & brought her order out. Oh well.

Had a yummy meal...I ordered the Family Sharing meal. It was a long wait, but got to meet amazing people. The meal was worth the wait. Loved the platter with the califlower rice,mongolian beef,noodles,special chicken,donuts....There was something for everyone. The fortune cookie's were a tad strange. I guess Pei Wei has found a niche marketing campaign inside the cookies. Please see pictures. Insider info: When you order togo inside restruant, they give you free drinks.

I ordered through Uber Eats. My order was correct and didn’t take long for me to receive it. This was my first time trying Pei Wei and the food is mediocre. I ordered chicken fried rice and they put a ton of carrots in it, which took away from the taste. I might give them another try in the future and order something different.
