Captain D's

Last week we ordered the 10 pc family fish meal. For the past year the fish has gotten smaller and smaller with this meal. This time 3 pieces were size of the part of the fork you eat with. Like a chicken nuggets size. Is that supposed to feed a member of my family? So of the 10 so called pieces, I felt the 1 was a bit longer than my middle finger. All rest was nugget or nugget and 1/2 size. Has this restaurant given up? The person at the window was also rude. She never said anything really that made us feel welcome. She was busy chatting with her coworker and we were ignored. After all, her priority was her conversation and we were bothering her by interrupting that...No thank you or any form of courtesy. The food was ready when we ordered it even though the parking lot was mostly empty. I know for past 2 yrs or 3 yrs that they stopped sending coupons out like they used to, their busy times seem very, very slow in comparison. I hate to even say this but if they do not start doing better, quickly, they will undoubtedly end up closed. This restaurant used to be so busy and so amazing. The food was plentiful and fresh and delicious. Sad.

There were multiple problems with this place. Besides over charging almost $24 for me & my 86 yr old friend. 1st)it was freezing in there. 2) we wanted to dine in so we waited almost 10 minutes for our meals & my friend was ao clod she asked me to take her home. 3)my frys were cold & limp there were horrible my friend had the steamed broccoli it was over cooked it was gross looking. 4) we went to get our drinks, I got my sweet tea & it was sour & at the same time a lady said there's something wrong with the tea. So we went up to the front counter & told the lady she said that they just made it & I said that the canister wasn't washed out then & we left.

Captain D's is a nice cozy little restaurant. The booths and the inside seating very nice. I love the colors. Plenty of parking. The staff is very nice. But it is not clean here! The tables and chairs are sticky. There is food spilt on the floor! Your feet stick to the floors! And the men's room is not clean!

Love captain ds! I am normally a catfish eater and yes of course it is still my go to .. however I had tried the blackened tilapia and wow was that amazing! Only problem I've ever had was not getting my drink a few times. Idk if I just drive away to fast or what. Most the time it is handed to you first.
