Soho Pizzeria

Been coming for years with exception of the last year. Pizza used to be the best and they USED to have very surprisingly good gyros. Got one today during Gay Pride Parade-it was basically a chicken wrap. Instead of tzatziki I thinks it’s Mayo, and the chicken was frozen and reheated at least a few times, probably. This is my first bad review & I’m not one to complain about food ever but it just seems like the owner is starting to cheap out on ingredients. If you want fresh ingredients avoid this place…

While I was at SOHO pizza today, a man stopped in who was hungry and had no money. He asked if he could get a slice of anything and he could maybe "pay in a couple days". The guy behind the counter gave him a slice because that's what humanity is all about. We take care of each other. SOHO has the best pizza in downtown Albany and they show their humanity to the people in the community. When you stop in to SOHO pizza, consider buying a slice in advance for someone who's struggling and vulnerable. ❤️

I’m Staying For one night in the capital District. I asked the clerk at the hotel to recommend Italian takeout restaurants he gave me two one of which had a minimum which I wasn’t able to meet. So I called Soho and ordered an egg plant Parmesan dinner with pasta. The person on the other end of the line told me 40 minutes, an hour later the food arrived. I was shocked being from Long Island I’m used to really good Italian food but my expectations were a little lower for upstate New York. The cheese was the cheapest mozzarella I have ever tasted it was almost in edible. I expected a good amount of eggplant and found three little pieces underneath the cheese basically the whole dish was pasta which cost them about two dollars at the most. I was hungry so I ate it all and then three hours later I was in the bathroom with diarrhea and stomach cramps. This was the only thing that I ate all afternoon and evening. I don’t have any idea about their pizza but I definitely would stay Away from their dinners unless you want cheap cheese and very little protein.

customer service was terrible. There were 5 or 6 guys behind the counter and after one took our order and cashed us out, they forgot about it. No one attempted to make our order and at a certain point we had to ask for a refund for everything except the pizza that could be warmed up quickly. Terrible customer service.
