O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar pretty place with very friendly staff. Good food. My cider plank salmon was delicious and juicy. My husband's steak was okay. A small piece of steak and small chicken tenders don't worse $18 dollars. Coleslaw wasn't fresh. I would recommend Cider plank salmon, asparagus, and campfire potatoes. Cider plank salmon with 2 sides: $20 dollars, but it's a big piece of salmon. 5 stars salmon but 4 stars steak. And we waited too long for our order but in the restaurant was not many people.

We went here for dinner after our daughter’s ice skating class. We were seated quickly and the server was promptly at our table. She took our drink order and gave us time to look at the menu. We placed our food order and everything came fairly quickly. We had to wait until dinner was almost over before we could get some yeast rolls. The server said the person working take out had taken all of the rolls for those orders. The food was good and the portions were good sized. They seem to be getting rid of the free pie Wednesday and they have gotten rid of the kids eat free since we last visited.

Real concerns about food safety at this restaurant. Everything that we ordered was improperly cooked and not edible. The restaurant was filthy with food left by other customers just walking out due to the poor food handling quality. The tables were all sticky with a residue to the point a kids menu stuck to the table. All of the servers were very overwhelmed with too many tables and all you could hear from them was Sorry over and over at every table they visited. I don't blame them for the issues. This is clearly a failure in management and ownership. I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant for serious health code and proper food handling violations that we witnessed in the short time we were there.

When you run out of bacon and don’t tell the customer and pour bacon bits on a turkey club sandwich instead. Nothing was done the manger did promised a free meal and that he was sending gift cards. Never received them. Not only my food was horrible my daughters food was cold. The bad service still continues there someone post negative comments on the neighborhood post just yesterday.

We did not have a great experience the last time we ordered from Ocharley’s due to waiting over twenty minutes after our pick-up time for food, but tonight we decided to try again. Uh, nope… this time was worse. We received one of our meals with a note on the box saying, “No bp, sorry”. We were not notified of this until our food was delivered and we were about to eat. We did not receive the other side that we paid for and that was frustrating. Also, our delivery had no silverware or butter for the hard rolls. Update: This location is awful. Once again waited 30 minutes for curbside to walk inside to find our food just sitting there. Don’t waste your time…

Have heard that this location in Alabaster is not going to be open much longer and after a visit for lunch yesterday, I understand why. Arrived around 12:20 and was told the wait would be 10 minutes(turned out to be 25) even though the restaurant had probably 30 empty tables. Hostess said that there was only 2 servers and they were both at their maximum number of tables. When we did get seated, our server was great but super busy as you would imagine. Food was ok to bad. Wife said the salmon was dry though the pork chop was pretty good. The coleslaw had turned and she nearly got sick after a single bite. I had the Southern Chicken tenders and that was pretty good but the sides of mac & cheese appeared to have been sitting under a heat lamp for hours as it was very dried out, and no at all as M&C should taste. The bread was awesome as usual and the server got a solid 8-9 out of 10 or there would have been a lower over all rating. I don't know how restaurants can survive with the current climate, millions of unfilled jobs and millions of people who don't want to take them. Maybe pickup only is the option because the current setup at this restaurant did not work for us and we are not likely to return.

We were greeted by the rudest hostess I’ve ever seen,not only was she rude to in coming customers but also to the girl working with her. They were not staffed well at all. Our server Ian was awesome,he was called back in to work after working the early shift and missed Mother’s Day dinner with his own mom,he gets a big thumbs up. Food was average at best.

As many of the recent reviews describe, this location is less than desirable. Dirty floors and under tables even though the restaurant just opened. Ordered the half club and potato soup. The bread on the club was horribly dry/stale, the soup was cold and still thick as though it had just come from the fridge. Flies everywhere. The best part was that our server was nice. It’s a shame management and operation of this restaurant will hurt her and others paychecks. Thank you Lauren, you were great. Check #1073013 11:30 6/22/22
