Panera Bread

On Friday, August 6, 2021, I went to Panera Bread to get my Birthday Gift. Because, when you join Panera Bread and put your Birthday date they will send you an email to get your free dessert. You can just give them your phone number you register under, your name and your good to go. I picked the Pecan Braid. I was so disappointed because they didn’t have the pecan roll anymore. I loved that dessert. It was so full of pecans, right amount of sweetness and stickiness. I would always eat half and save the other for another day. I do hope that Panera Bread would bring it back by emailing the customers and asking them to vote on bringing the pecan roll back. However, even though the pecan braid isn’t as large in shape and doesn’t have a lot of pecans it’s still very good. It wasn’t hard, but the dough was flaky, soft on the inside with a slight crunchiness,and it was just right in sweetness. I wished I had purchased one to go along with my Free Birthday Dessert. I give it 4 stars but if they added more pecans and make it a little longer it would differently improve it to a 5 star dessert.

An absolute disappointment, start to finish. At one time we were regulars here, but stopped because of issues with this location. We hadn't been in at least a year, decided to give it another try. Walked in and stood up front several minutes, no one greeted us or spoke. We placed our order, went to get our drinks. I immediately noticed how filthy it was around the dish/tray return and drink area. We sat down and waited for the pager to go off (to pick our food up). We could see it in the window, but after several minutes the pager still hadn't gone off. My partner finally went up and asked the young lady about it. She said "Oh sorry. We're just super busy". Ummm...that's your job. And yes, I get it. I've been in food service 30 years myself. My tomato soup was great as always. My partner got a sandwich that appeared to have the tiniest sliver of cheese, and mostly greens. Needless to say, we will never return to this location.

Had dinner here Sunday nights. Dining room was very dirty. Tables with dishes on them, trash all the over the floor, bathrooms dirty, trash cans overflowing with spilled food on top. Food was good but not a very appealing place to eat. Reported our concerns to the manager on duty with no response. There was about 4-5 people congregated in the food prep area.
