Cracker Barrel

I'm never ever ordering curbside again. I waited for 45 minutes after placing the online order. I ordered on the app and got a confirmation. Then I checked in like the confirmation email instructed. The service... I eventually called to see why things were taking so long, and the waitress said their website wasn't working. They didn't offer an apology, but they brought the food out immediately after speaking with them. I guess they didn't see me out the window sitting in the curbside parking spot for so long. Nobody thought to call and check in once the food was ready, since they already knew the website was down... The quality... If I owned this restaurant I would be embarrassed serving this food. The chicken fried steak tasted burned. The fries actually had water squish out when you bit into them. And all of it was cold from sitting on the counter waiting for who knows how long. I ended up throwing half of it away because I couldn't make myself eat it all. This used to be one of our family's favorite restaurants. But now there's just a bad taste when I think of this place.

I eat here around 2-3 times a month and staff is always friendly and attentive. I would recommend asking if Winston is working and sit in his area. He is hands down the best server they have. He has great attention to detail and he’s very friendly. He will check on you to make sure everything is good and he never makes you feel like you’re a burden. It always feels like a VIP with him. Plus the food is always great! The atmosphere always positive and welcoming. Bad experiences here are very rare so if you have experienced one, please give it another try!

The Sunday morning wait was 25 minutes and we were seated almost exactly when they had estimated the time. Our waitress Julie was exceptional and check on us numerous times but not an overwhelming amount. Found an awesome Christmas book by Charles Dickens with a few of his short stories. The food came out within about 10 minutes and was as expected.
