Daily Grind

Decided to try here as the hot dog place around the corner always gives me attitude. Can't believe how good it was! Under $10 and I had an amazing burger with shredded lettuce, fresh tomatoes on a huge grilled bun, with a side of long fresh fries fried to perfection. Was on a plate in less than 10 minutes. Fantastic spot, very nice people too.

Um... This is why you stop in small towns for lunch. We didn't have much cash on us and they didn't take cards, and yet we still managed to afford a full lunch for two people on $15. The staff were unbelievably kind. We regret we didn't have more cash on us, cause every cent went a long way. Thank you for making our rainy day a little more cheery.

Great place near the Ashuwilticook Rail Trail to grab a bite for breakfast or lunch. I came in with a friend while we were out biking the trail for lunch. Got a turkey sandwich on white and it turned out great, very satisfied. They brought out the food to us outside without any trouble. It’s also very well priced. The inside was a little worn down and could use a renovation, but other than the atmosphere was fine.

Me and two others enjoyed a generous breakfast here. The food was delicious. It was a little weird to order, eat THEN pay, but that's fine. The atmosphere is terrible, but I don't care about that very much. The tables and chairs are very old second-hand pieces. The bathroom was dirty and everything felt like it was in disrepair. But at the end of the day, I really don't care about that very much. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. Nobody came by to see if we needed more coffee or beverages because this is mostly a serve-yourself place. So I can't give it high marks in 'service' because there isn't much. the seating was limited but we were there on a Saturday morning at 9:30am. But I don't want to give the place a bad rap - the food was REALLY good! When one of our party got the pancakes with whipped cream they even added sprinkles because HOW FUN ARE SPRINKLES?! I gave it four stars because the food was good and that's what matters to me, but the venue has ... challenges.
