Two Professors Ice Cream

This gourmet ice cream shop is a hidden gem in Abilene that I highly recommend. I've been to Abilene many many times and have never tried this place but wanted to. They make their own ice cream which is wonderful in itself. Their ice cream recipe is extra creamy and rich which is incredible delicious! We had the caramel ice cream which was indeed the best ice cream I have had in a very long time!! They have an old fashion retro decor which reminds me of yesteryear. It's just a wonderful place for both kids but also for adults. We had our dog with us and asked them if we could sit on the patio with her. They even offered water for her since it was so hot outside which was so thoughtful. They also offered her a small little cup of vanilla ice cream. It was her first ice cream and she loved it. The young lady working here provided excellent customer service and was so helpful & thoughtful. Love my experience here and it will be one of my favorite places to go to next time I'm in Abilene.

My family and I were passing through Abilene on the way back home to the Dallas area. We decided to stop at 2 Profs for milkshakes, and boy, are we glad we did!! My boys got the Andes mint and chocolate oreo flavors, while my husband and I chose the key lime. All the flavors were great, and they were the creamiest, most delicious milk shakes we had ever had. We were very sad when we got to the bottom of the cups! We also met one of the owners, who was very kind. If you are passing anywhere near this ice cream shop, make sure you take a detour and get yourself a tasty frozen treat...you won't be disappointed!

Delicious ice cream! I sampled a handful of flavors (they were all very tasty). We ended up purchasing scoops of strawberry, coffee, coconut, and mocha-chip. Everything was fresh and scrumptious. Hearty servings and affordable prices. To know what flavors are current, it's best to call ahead and inquire.
