Great first visit to the Bread Maker where we had a lovely selection of breads, breakfast wrap and cakes. Along with the drinks and coffee's, the food was delicious and will definitely be back when in this area of the city centre.

A very busy cafe and bakery. Descent choice of pies to takeaway for a quick lunch. Nice hot chocolate and stock on non-dairy ice cream for our vegan practicing son

Nice and friendly place, lovely bread, and nice sandwiches and choice of filling. They serve a lovely light lunch, soup and hot filled paninni. To eat inside or a sitting area outside shop, on a nice day.🌸

Always a good experience at the Breadmaker. Friendly staff, good coffee and a decent bacon roll. Seldom come away without buying some of their freshly made bakery products too.

Breadmaker is clean. The staff is friendly. One important thing about this business is they support the locals by providing training to people with disability, as this training not only boost their confidence and enable them to seek genuine employment, it provides them with the skills. Regarding the meal experience, the bread here is fresh, and the coffee is good. I recommend this to whoever wants to support the community to come here, especially if you want a good breakfast and lunch.

Friendly, welcoming staff, delicious hot coffee along with scrumptious cakes. I had a muffin while my son had a truffle. Spotlessly clean coffee shop with a lovely warm atmosphere and good selection of cakes, savouries and fresh bread. Would definitely recommend a visit, we will definitely return. 👍

I can honestly say this is the best cafe and bakery in Aberdeen. I say this not just on the atmosphere and food quality but also because they provide a training setting for Adults with disabilities. Starting with atmosphere it’s a bright, traditional cafe with seating inside and out. The smell of baked bread when you walk in is incredible along with at this time of year a range of festive gifts. They offer a range of freshly baked breads of all shapes and sizes and then you come to the main event, their cake display. I have no will power when it comes to a freshly made cake with a cuppa and The Bread Maker tests my will power to the limit. They offer a range of cakes with each one I’ve tried being as amazing as the last. So far my top recommendations would be Cinnamon Swirls and their strawberry tarts. Hmmm, and their scones are the best too, it’s really hard to narrow this down. To be honest no matter what you choose your going to love it. They have a good range of hot and cold drinks, sweet and savoury snacks. Parking can get pretty busy outside on Rosemount but Denburn Carpark just around the corner and cheaper than on street parking. For exceptional food and drink combined with friendly service in warm atmosphere I’d strongly recommend visiting here.

I am visiting Aberdeen for the week, and this bakery was one of my planned must see. The atmosphere is very welcoming, the staff is very kind and patient, been asking silly questions and yet the people who served me where calm, respectful and kind. I got myself a tasty macaroni pie, but most importantly... The best focaccia I had in years! I am Italian, and whenever I have the chance I do like to try focaccia wherever I go; unfortunately, most of the times I am left bitterly disappointed, but not here! So fluffy, moist, fragrant, filling but not heavy, just as it is meant to be! I will be back to try more bakery products, their carrot cake looks divine, the lemon drizzle loaf is massive, and the selection of local bread is good, also have gluten free options! If you are in the area, come in and have a try, totally worth it!

I went there once and and the staff was so lovely. I had a chicken sandwich menu with a pastry and a drink for £5 (which is a pretty good deal!)

Excellent cakes and sandwiches, amazing coffee at really good prices, and they have a loyalty card scheme to get free coffee. Spotlessly clean with welcoming staff. Love the fact that people with learning disabilities are being given a chance to learn skills for not just the workplace, but for life. If I had the time, I would volunteer to help here. It is an amazing place.
