The best Greek food I have ever tried! The server Daryl was amazing he made our experience super amazing. The recommendations were the best and we had a truely yummy time! We ordered the lamb shoulder, 48 hour cooked meat, and a tomato based appetizer. Great food 🍖🍅🍲👍👍👍

Mythos has always been one of our favourite restaurants but their post lockdown attention once again proves the love and respect they have for their guests. The food is stellar as always but also the tables are spaced out in such a way that you’ll feel pretty comfortable without worrying about others. There are no printed menus whatsoever which is again a manifestation of their considerate approach and there’s always a hand sanitiser in reach — unlike some of the other Greek restaurants in town!

This is one of the best Greek restaurants, I tried in Dubai. The ambience is one of the most serene and calm one ¬that you will ever come across. I went there with my office colleagues and found the place to be extremely welcoming. We tried the in house brewed beer Sparta, which I found quite interesting. We had salad, burgers, and various chicken and beef dishes which were quite delicious. The service was good, quantity was decent and price was also proper.

This was the first place at dined at when I moved to Dubai. 3 years later and it’s just the same, if not better. We tried so many things but unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of most of them! But here’s what I would recommend -<br/><br/>For appetisers - we tried a couple of the dips with bread and the fried cheese which was so good. We also tried the tomato purée. <br/><br/>For mains - the pork belly was so good and cooked to perfection. The portion size was just right to leave you full but not stuffed. The lamb chops were succulent and the charred grill marks on it were just beautiful. We also tried the roast chicken which was tender and lovely. <br/><br/>The only advise I’d give fellow diners is that since most of it is grilled, it’s takes a good 15-30 minutes of wait time from when you order. But all good things come at a cost!

When i heard Mythos is a Greek food, i was excited to try it as i have never been to a Greek restaurant. The restaurant is quite spacious compared to the small joints in JLT which is usually meant for parcels.<br/><br/>When in Greek restaurant tried the Greek Salad The feta cheese and Olive oil tasted excellent. The Chicken Gyros Merida was a masterpiece, liked it very much. Home made Pita bread with Greek fries and veggies. Very nice.<br/><br/>For Dessert had the unique Greek Yogurt with Honey and Walnuts. One of the best Greek restaurants in town... The food is always fresh, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff are really friendly... Have tried nearly everything on their menu and everything has been really good my favorites include tzatziki, chicken gyro, cheese/leek pie and the spicy feta dip. <br/>The only negative point and why this place does not have a 5 star rating is the parking they have a limited 3 hour parking (not a minute more or you get charged 200Dhs) which makes you feel like you need to rush through your meal and drinks.

Well we got to the restaurant and it wasn’t packed, we ordered 3 starters and 3 mains, the starters came very fast and were good, then we had to wait for almost 25 minutes until a waiter came to us saying that our food needs “some more minutes”, keeping in mind that there is people that came after us and got served before us while the waiter was denying that they came after us, i have to say it was a bad experience and we had high expectations, but unfortunately we were extremely disappointed

I absolutely love Greek food as my husband is Greek as well, this place does a great job at Greek finger food that can be enjoyed as tapas by a large group. Have not tried the main courses at all so cannot comment. <br/><br/>The ambience is fantastic, the staff are very polite and helpful and the food is flavorful, I love that they use authentic ingredients and recipes. The only aspect I could touch on is that the prices are high, I know Greek food is a bit niche in Dubai and can run expensive but I felt like the started were priced a bit unfairly. <br/><br/><br/>Overall I always enjoy my time here and would recommend for a group of friends or family to enjoy!

A bit disappointed by the food especially since this came highly recommended by a friend - food turned out to be just average. Chicken Gyros Merida was over-flavored and slightly overcooked /burnt. Melitzanosalata was okay though. However, I really liked the complimentary bread with stuffed olives, possibly the best of what we had there. The setup is beautiful though, service is acceptable.

For about 2 years, Mythos was one of our top 3 favorite restaurants in Dubai. We would always bring guests here, and it never disappointed. Today we went back for the first time in 4 months and it was totally different! Most of the staff was new and all the dishes we loved were mediocre. The octopus was too salty. The tzatziki tasted different. The meats on the mixed grill were not as tender or flavorful. The gyro was cold. The loukoumades were lukewarm. A sad day. We’d told our friends this was a must try and rushed back from a trip in Abu Dhabi to make it before closing, and it was just such a disappointment.

This is not my first visit to Mythos, and as I remember food was more delicious before. Generally, food was ok, nice decoration, and relatively good prices. Elia at the Majestic may be older. Chef Izu Ani’s Gaia, and recently opened Ena on the Palm may be snootier but in my humble opinion, Mythos remains the best Greek restaurant in Dubai. Its interior is simple, unpretentious and tastefully Mediterranean. The food is amazing – authentic, big on flavour and consistently good. Staff and servers are friendly – what more could you want? Oh, and it’s licensed. Bravo Mythos.

We may have been unlucky. However, this service is not acceptable. We have been seated in an empty restaurant and ordered some water. There was so many waiters pointlessly walking around and chatting with each other. We waited 20 minutes for water and then politely asked for it. We waited 15 minutes more. All the tables started filling up and they got their water! We did not get any water, we complained more and asked for an explanation. The manager said: “SORRY, give me one more chance, we have problem with our system.” Clearly, there wasn’t any problem because other tables got their water straight away, but they arrived later than us. This is simply unacceptable, so we left after 40 minutes of waiting for water.

The atmosphere is cozy along with the physical setup of the place. It gets crowded so a booking is obviously recommended. With that in mind, consider it'll be a loud place so maybe not the best place for a first date. I would recommend it for a group outing though.<br/><br/>The service and servers are great and so are the meal options. As for the actual meal, it was tasty. I would happily come back but at this point in time, Mythos is not my top-of-mind restaurant for when I want a nice brochette or Greek something.<br/><br/>I would go back again if I was asked to join friends.

I loved loved the food esp the feta cheese dip and moussaka. The design is beautiful it's very refreshing. The service is great too. The only criticism I have is minor, it's the seatings are uncomfortable. I think something to do with the table arrangements that doesn't give that comfy feeling. I felt it's a bit rigid. After hearing great reviews about this place I tried this restaurant last weekend with my husband. Firstly their decor is very nice and feels like you are in Greece. Great atmosphere and have seating both indoors and outdoors. <br/>For the starters had ordered fried zucchini and grilled eggplant that had tomatoes onions garlic fresh herbs and red balsamic which had a very different flavor. For the main course we ordered the gyros platter with pita bread greek fries tzatziki and spicy feta cheese dip. <br/>The food and service was exceptional at this place and ill be definitely going back for more.

You gotta follow the steps before you reach there, looks like a maze, but its worth it. After you walk you are welcomed by. A big smile from the team, caring enough to warn you “watch your steps” reminded me of underground train in UK.. the place is very nice and better sit outside (especially now as the weather is cooling down). U feel the Greek ambience from the music, to the food and not to forget the Mythos beer. It is a must try place. Cheers!

Great portion to share.<br/><br/>Tomato Kefta 5/5* - MUST TRY!! it's so tender and soft, you will be surprised by how flavorful and fluffy these little balls are! <br/><br/>Greek Salad 4.5/5*- we didnt order it at first, while we just swapped the potatoes fries from the gyros into a salad. Then when it came, it was so fresh & well-dressed that we decided to order another portion. They served a gigantic piece of Feta on top! Went out for dinner quite some time back to Mythos, we heard so much about this place. The minute you step in you’ll know what the management exactly wants to feel you just traveled to Greece! Really good food great octopus served food a bit oily but all in all it was a pleasant dining experience.

Excellent place...we visited Greece few months ago..and we were craving for Greek food...its the best place to visit..it was like taking us back to Greece for few hours the ambience the music.. we loved it..we celebrated my husband birthday lunch...the Pork Gyros, Pork souvlaki and the tzatziki were excellent..they have the best fries out there..the portions are good too...we had the Mythos beer and the Greek mojito with Ouzo in it.. yummy..we had the Lemon mint sorbet..oh my God..it was excellent..a must try 👌will definitely recommend this place to friends and family...and will visit again to try out more from the menu..😋

Was sincerely blown away with this place. Didn't expect JLT to have such a gem of a restaurant. I have not been impressed with food and service and ambiance in Dubai for quite sometime . The staff were super polite , attentive, food came so quickly and tasted superb. Thumbs up to owners and management . Very well done

I’ve been here in a very long time but I clearly remember my experience here which was amazing the ambiance, food and the service are top notch, it could be difficult to reach the restaurant but it’s worth it

Always a certainty when it comes to restaurants in Dubai. They are licensed and they are still keeping great prices. <br/><br/>I highly recommend the place also considering the fact that they are not many licensed cheap Greek restaurants.

I love the decor.... gives you an illusion of Greece .We were a group of 17 and opted for the set menu . It’s totally worth the price . There was plenty of food and was delicious. They have a friendly manager too .<br/>This place only lacks a decent parking and entrance.

It's a super (forget having a conversation) noisy place when you sit inside. Outside, it's quieter but you'll have to bear the heat.<br/>The Greek salad looked as if a 2 yr old had made it. With huge chunks of tomatoes, olives and a gigantic piece of feta thrown in it, it was bland and tasteless.<br/>We also ordered a Gyros plate and instead of "gyros" got a slob of shredded chicken with tiny pita pieces on the side. Like where's the gyros?<br/>Disappointing to say the least and waiters seem to pay less attention if you don't order drinks!

Extremely disappointing. I have to say for a place well-known for their gyros to run out on a Friday WEEKEND at 10pm is awfully embarrassing. When I mentioned to the waitress that we were going to leave first she went to serve another table then comes back and says that they in fact had two gyros left. We were a party of 3 and besides it is simply unacceptable to run out food HOURS before closing time. Unflattened by the service and mostly like won’t come back.

29-July-2018<br/><br/>Heeding my Partner's protest of another Asian food adventure, I decided to go for Greek. <br/><br/>Mythos, came highly recommended based on the reviews on Zomato and Tripadvisor. <br/><br/>All I can say is that, all the reviews were on point, Mythos Certainly did not disappoint.<br/><br/>The ambiance of the place definitely screamed Greek, with its whitewashed stone walls , white arched ceilings with columns and the blue and white furniture. it is very fresh and simple. <br/><br/>For our starters, we ordered Tzatziki which came highly recommended, and we paired with their Greek fries. We also had the Shrimp Saganaki, and the Grilled Octopus with white vinegar dressing. <br/><br/>Tzatziki with Greek Fries - 10/10 it was so tasty and fresh with enough bite from the garlic. I love how it paired so well with the Fries.<br/><br/>Shrimp Saganaki - 10/10 , soak up the sauce with their bread, you will not get enough.<br/><br/>Grilled Octopus - 10/10 The white vinegar dressing, is a flavor bomb. me and my partner fought over the last piece lol<br/><br/>For our Mains, we odered the Chicken Gyros wrapped in Pita and the Pork Souvlaki served with Tzatziki and Fries<br/><br/>Chicken Gyros - 8/10 it it was juicy and tender, i think the chicken needs to be cooked a bit more though, some pieces were a bit too pinkish. and there was no side dish, like maybe a bit of fries, But overall, it was pretty good dish<br/><br/>Pork Souvlaki - 5/10 this one, was the only dish that disappointed us. The pork was tough, tasteless and dry. <br/><br/>Our experience in Mythos was definitely gastronomically wonderful and we definitely see ourselves coming back for more . <br/><br/>It was pretty full when we went, so reservations is actually a must/

The place where Zeus goes to get his fix!<br/><br/>Wow, where to begin. The ambiance, the food, the experience the place - they have thought of it all and mastered the experience of a how to run a fully themed restaurant. If you only have a few days to visit Dubai this is a place you can not miss!<br/>

The restaurant is always full, I think because has a good quality and is not expensive. Is not a restaurant for a romantic dinner (is bit noisy) but is cozy and nice. Simple table with a paper cloth and modern and soft light. The food is the typical Greek food with good choices of meet. The bill is very good and you can find the mythos (Greek beer).

This place is a hidden gem in JLT. The decor very much resembles a Greek atmosphere with its soft blue and white colors. I went there to celebrate my mother and brothers birthday and I must say the service was impeccable. The staff made sure to have cakes sent to our table right after dinner and a bunch of them came, with a singer, to help celebrate. Thank you Mythos!

One of my favorites! Go to restaurant which has great food and ambience, at a very good price point for Dubai. Recommend booking in advance as it does get very busy; highly recommend the lamb chops, grilled sea bass, and pork merida for the mains. For dessert, get the loukoumades, you won’t be disappointed.

Mythos is an authentic greek restaurant where you enjoy food.<br/>You can find a compilation of traditional greek recipes and dishes. You will love the experience of the interior decor where you feel the greek mood.<br/>However, i would recommend if they can find a solution for the smell. During summer the inside is smelly. Other than that it is a great restaurant.
