A good collection of talents. Karaoke masters are great singers and great comedians at the same time. Situated on the 7th floor of Asiana hotel extension. The food is exceptionally good just like in Asiana's other outlets. The price of the food is fair but the liquor is quite pricey. All in all a good hangout place. They have private karaoke rooms as well for parties and special occassions which you can rent.

It was fine. First time I went there last Monday night, with a few friends. Checked the website and even called to see the operation hours. Stated that it's from 9pm-3AM. So, yeah why not. We got there had a few drinks, my friends and I were enjoying the room and KTV. Then the staff kept on coming back saying "last song". "The tv will automatically shut.<br/><br/>2AM they already handed the bill. I guess they were all excited to rush home. I found it rude and we left the place around 2:30 ish. Maybe you all could just change the timing from 3AM to 2AM. 😂

Perfect place to chill out. The food was good enough even the speed of service. But what you loved about this place are all the stand-up comedians. They will make you laugh hard and encourage you to sing along with them even the word sing itself is will never match on you. Overall experience was Great!

The place is beautiful and accommodating. Staff and artists are friendly. Excellent performance and they assure you that you will be entertained from the beginning until the end of the performance.<br/>They have a good menu and suitable for kabayans, it feels like we are home (Philippines). We ordered crispy pata (tasty) , pancit and iced tea we also add rice and extra chili for our sauce but as the night ends they had not served the rice and the chilli which actually was fine as we enjoyed the pancit.<br/><br/>Another thing, i think the staff should be aware or should kept track of what they had served before making the final bill. The rice was on my bill but it was not served and i cant refund the money as i paid thru CC. They offer drinks for replacement but we do not have time because we are leaving. I was irritated then but I don’t want to ruin the night so we just left the place.<br/><br/>Also I would like to thank Makati Bar for surrendering my CC to the lost and found of the Asiana Hotel. I got my lost card same day. Thank you!<br/><br/>I would highly recommend MAKATI BAR for my friends and family and to all my kabayans if you are tired from work, this is the best place to hang out and laugh

Whenever you feel down and need company this is the best place to go to. Dine for 2 for as low as Aed 85 you get Crispy Pata, Full platter of pancit, 2 rice and Soda of choice. It doesnt only offer good food and drinks but stand up comedians know exactly how to make u laugh. The guys are awesome! You can sing along with them too.

This was my first time in a Filipino bar . Went there with my Filipino friends . The ambience was good . Surprisingly it was almost empty, perhaps we were too early . <br/>The hosts were really funny though couldn't understand most of it . A special mention to Wendel . You were awesome man . <br/><br/>The Karaoke was Great with a good selection of songs . The hosts were great with their vocals . <br/>Loved the crowd interaction .<br/>The booze is expensive compared to other places but they have these amazing combo offers which are just great.<br/>The food was ok ... we tried the Pork Sisg. This was my first time trying this dish . It was pretty yum. If you don't like pork Liver stay away from this dish lol. <br/>The Long Island ice tea was kinda dilute . Deal breaker <br/>The service was ordinary . I have no clue why the stewards were so nervous and serious . <br/><br/>Overall it was a fun experience . If you have Filipino friends do go here . A fun and light way to relax! And what better way to do it, than by singing your heart out. It's karaoke time baby. The place is cool and friendly. Service is good. Food? "Sobrang sarap"! My personal fave is the crispy pata. Plus there's the comedians who would literally let you forget your problems at the moment! Two thumbs up!

Such a novel concept, Dubai needs more such places. Great comedy, Cheap alcohol, followed by some bad singing with good friends. What else does one need? <br/><br/>Makati is the main city of Manila, Philippines and they have a lot of karaoke bars down there for obvious reasons. Philipinos love singing!! Such a lovely place for Karaoke freaks. A good place to gang out with your friends, most of the other karaoke bars are like, you have to mixed up with other people which is also fine. But here you can book a private karaoke room..<br/><br/>About food hmm I didn't tried though, but yes the beers were expensive than other bars. No wonder why and I noticed it the next day only when i looked up on those bills which cane out from my pocket 😂<br/><br/>

We went there with my friends as I heard about this famous Boracay bar. Name itself sounds good..The place is actually huge compare to other Filipino bars in Dubai. It is my special evening as Im celebrating my birthday on that night However its quiet disappointing that the performer cannot sing atleast 1of the 5 songs I requested and they been using Tagalog words only which creates a negative impact for some foreign guests. Im telling this as some of my friends felt unwelcome and the entertainment is very unfriendly. Imagine that the crowd are laughing and they are totally blank as in no reactions in what happening. I observed that not only our table same thing with another tables as most of the Filipinos translating everything to their friends and love ones.Second the server who took our order was so unpleasant after serving incomplete orders still discussing with my two friends insisting that "that's what we ordered". The music was good and the ambiance is perfect but I always believe that giving a constructive feedback helps improve the environment. My suggestion is to give a proper training for the staff on how to deal and communicate with the guest and for the performer they should practice using English also when they are on stage as we are not in our own land we are in a foreign country and consider the fact that most of your guests are foreigners. If you can improve this small details your guests will definitely comeback and you can ensure that your leaving a memorable experience to everyone

While at the buffet a guy came up to us asking if we have a band. which we know nothing about. We said no. A second arrogant staff who is a boyish lady in black Tshirt asked us aggrogantly if we were a broker. I said no. Then she rudely on the top of her voice said for everyone to hear that we have to pay for our meal. Standing in front of me as if she won't let me through. I said Yes! then the broker we were with intervened that we are their guest and that they will handle it. It showed how poor and very cheap the staff was in handling the situation. why go after the guest when they should be chasing the organizers. she came back with another arrogant staff and further embarrassed the broker in front of the guest. I said to the broker that SMDC should never host the event there again. Yes I can pay for my meal. We were invited there as guest to be potential investors! But the staff of Makati bar treated us as if we were there to just eat their meal. which I would said, if basing on the buffet food it wasn't something to be proud about. the food wasn't that good and would not want to eat there again. Again, won't want to recommend this place based on the staff who thinks they are better than other people. Cheapness of character at it's finest.
