Well, we walked in and the waiter informed us that they couldn’t serve us any cooked food that evening because they were out of gas, this is highly unbelievable for a reputed chain like Shakespeare. Extremely upset at this happening and will reconsider twice before ever going back to Shakespeare

My last comment was deleted. Hence writing again. I had ordered their Haloumi veg sandwich and had asked the server to grill the sandwich. the sandwich was served with out grilling and the holumi did not taste fresh. Overall a very very bad experience. I am regular with their other branches, but my first time with this branch will make think about visiting their other branches.

Shakespeare and Co. provides an island of cute interiors in the most depressing mall in the UAE, Barsha Mall. Food here is always shareable. Taste is not extreme, thus suitable for many tongues. I would go here more if it was cheaper tho.

Every time when I passed by Shakespeare in Babuta I thought it’s a shisha place. The time I went for lunch in Barsha mall, I was surprised, it was nice, quiet and so chilling place. And btw food was good as well. Definitely gonna visit again

Beautiful place with such an elegant and dreamy decor. The staff were very friendly. Coming to the food, we probably ordered more than we could eat. And boy, we were stuffed! Each dish was extremely tasty. Their assorted bread with garlic butter was probably the best of the haul.

We tried a take away order from ShakesPeare and Co of a Club Sandwich and Croque Madame. The teams did get a bit confused around the use of vouchers and one of their workstations messed up around the time of use. But it was smooth sailing after they figured out how to use the billing stations :) <br/><br/>They give you an option of Brown or White bread and serve the sandwiches with their extra crispy and crunchy fries plus a fresh serving of green Salad. The sandwiches were pretty great, the toasting level was as per our liking and the ingredients were fresh. The quality of ingredients was pretty good which contributed to the final dish. For their Croque madame, they add beschamel for an extra creaminess in addition to the standard cheese. <br/><br/>All in all we had a great experience and would try again.

This quaint lil place would have been fantastic if they had an enclosed space for themselves. Nonetheless, we had a lovely time here. Loved their cappuccino & their Mediterranean Saj. Service can be improved by a tad bit!

There aren’t many places that beats Shakespeare for a coffee, especially as you get some yummy madeleines and mini biscuit to go with it. The service is generally good and attentive as well.

The shelf is filled with great looking pastries. French Pâtisserie's one of the good examples in dubai. The price for bite size food start at 25 and it is worth the beauty and taste of those. The cakes are good too.

Best cakes ever. I had taken my birthday cake and 2 pistachio cakes from here. The birthday cake was amazing. It was very moist and melt in the mouth. There was a perfect mixture of the bitter chocolate powder on top and the sweet filling.<br/>The pistachio cake was on a whole other level. I can't even describe how fantastic that was.

Shakespeare is a very chilled out place. The food here is very nice. They have a great variety from burger, Pizzas also salads and they have breakfast. Its a great spread and at certain locations they even office shisha.

I do love this place for excellent service , quality food but more than everything what makes me visit here often is that ambience . It gives you that space to be on your own , so soothing . Just a cappucino is what i had this time which was served with my favorite financier cake . Book in my hand and a hot cappucino and the lovely service just refreshed my day in no time .

I had the Avocado and Egg Toast and it was soooo good, full of taste and so enjoyable and will definitely be back and worth every penny. So my friend and I came here for breakfast around 9am. The food was dry all around. We ordered the American breakfast with chocolate pancakes and they were both horrible. The eggs were extremely overcooked and dry. The chocolate pancakes were very dry and got stuck in our throat! Not having breakfast here again!

The interior of this place is so shabby chic and vintage . Every seating area has a different set up . The staff was very courteous and it was quiet refreshing to see that the staff had a smile on their faces were throughout our visit.<br/><br/>Food was good and tasty. I ordered French toast and American breakfast along with Kadak tea. Couldn't have been better than this.<br/><br/>The only thing that bothered me was the fact that the bacon and hash browns were very oily, I know they were deep fried but still I think this could have been improved.<br/><br/>A must go for anyone wanting to enjoy a good breakfast during late afternoon :)

Al Barsha Mall has gone from being a neighbourhood grocery shopping place to a proper, albeit tiny mall. My wife and daughter love Shakespeare. I’m not a big fan but have to tag along in the interests of family harmony. This time however, I asked to visit Shakespeare much to the shock of my dearest of dears. It started with my late night sugar craving and ended when I learnt that all Shakespeare deserts are half price after 22:00 during Ramadan. Yesterday was the first time i visit this place, was really profound of it. The food was just fabulous, i ordered the english breakfast and it was perfectly made. But i have to admit that they do need more staff, only two people serving everyone around is just not enough. Last day I went there to have dinner with my family , the place decorations is great and the service is good . We ordered fetucheni karbonara which was good it didn't have so many test , spaghetti bollones was so delicious I advise you to try it , the mashroum soup needed a twist of lemon , foe dessert we ordered molten cake with vanilla ice cream it was amazing you must try it .

Mac and cheese, cheese sauce or pumpkin sauce, whatever it was, had no taste what so ever...just some kind of yellow fluid. Barbeque chicken pizza was average. My overall experience, not impressed, did not enjoy my meal, did not finish it all. Avoid these 2 dishes.

Came with my daughter to have a cake and some drinks. It took them 15 minutes to give me the menu, although there were only 3 tables. Took the order and brought Iced coffee without ice, where I've mentioned that only the juice to be without it. They brought my cake but delayed my daughter's one for 35 minutes. I know it will take more time, but bring both together at least. I am not gonna eat while my daughter is looking at me. No service, no common sence and definetely not again!

When i visited i had decided to order the Voodles from the vegan menu since i’m vegan and always order this dish. Unfortunately, the servers failed to inform me of the changes in the ingredients wherein the protein bites were replaced with tofu as a result of an issue with the supplier. I was offered something different (vegan grilled cheese with spinach sandwich) and i had to wait for it to be ready and eat alone since my friend’s food had been served with the first dish. It wasn’t an ideal situation as they could’ve informed me from the get go, and the replacement was alright but was not up to par as it was way too greasy to enjoy.
Clients should be in the know when ingredients change. This is a very easy way to lose regular costumers.
