Had pav bhaji here which was very talked about however i found the pav very sweet compared to other fast food outlets. <br/>I tried their bombay frankie which they claimed to be authentic however it was nowhere close to mumbai street style frankies. It simply tasted like an aloo wrap. <br/>Just an okay experience overall.

Recently visited this amazing place call @mumbaiexpress to try there menu. <br/>I was truely impressed with the taste. <br/>Tried the pani puri, papdi chat, pizza , masala papad , dosa and the best of all soya manchurian. <br/>Will definitely visit again for that chat and soya manchurian. <br/>Also they have a special drink for winter called as hot toddy, which taste delicious and healthy at the same time. We ordered a tawa pulao and masala pav. <br/>They ended up sending plain pav with some chutney inside. <br/>After speaking to the manager and explaining the situation for about 15 minutes, they mentioned that they would send a replacement with the correct masala pav. <br/><br/>It’s been over an hour since that call and I have not received any delivery. Mumbai Express is in existence for more than 7 years and has been famous for Mumbai Street food and Chinese with a twist of Desi. This is one place which everyone should visit for a truely value for money experience. Their dishes are very reasonably priced for the generous portions served. Very fast service with very tasty food us what you can expect from this Hidden Gem.<br/><br/>In starters we ordered the Vegetable Crispy and Paneer 65. The Veg crispy was very nicely done with the taste of the sweet and spicy sauce. The Paneer 65 is a deadly dish. The gravy infused with the soft Paneer is too good to describe. Start your culinary experience with these two dishes.<br/><br/>We also tried their Pani puris which they have 3 varieties of stuffing. Excellent taste of each and the puris was very soft and thin.<br/><br/>A visit to this place cannot end with the famous street food. So we decided to try their Pav Bhaji, Vegetable Frankie and Paneer Frankie. The Pav Bhajis are better than what we get in the streets of Mumbai. This will cleanse your body from inside and detox.<br/><br/>The highlight if the night was their Gadbad Ice cream which is a deadly mix of 3 different flavours of ice creams with Dry fruits and Fruits. This cannot be drunk but you have to eat it with spoons. Come here to experience this with light music of old Bollywood songs in the background.<br/>The Chickoo milk Shake is another thick concoction of pure Chickoo fruit with milk.<br/><br/>Overall experience was a feeling of Nostalgia and you are virtually taken to the by lanes of Mumbai.

I am so glad that I finally went to this amazing place where they serve the best Mumbai style street food.<br/>Tried their pani puri which was one among the best I have had so far. Kutchi dabeli came next, and it was good, no complaints, though I have had better ones.<br/>Misal pav was simply mind blowing, so good this one was!<br/>Pav bhaji had the best buttered bun and some nice creamy bhaji to go with the pav.<br/>Cheese sandwich was ordered for my little one and she seemed to have loved it, full of cheese inside and outside!<br/>Next I tried their Indo Chinese starter paneer chili dry and I loved it! <br/>Our server Mr Ramesh suggested I try their special Mumbai style dosa which was called the time pass dosa. This one was so different (in a good way), never had a dosa of this kind. The dosa was smeared with Schezwan sauce, topped with cheese and some coriander leaves. Oh this was tasty!<br/>For drinks, tried their coffee, lime soda and watermelon juice. They were all good, but the watermelon juice was the best as it was served fresh with watermelon pieces in it.<br/>Ended the food tasting session with fruit salad with jelly ice cream, a good way to end the already amazing experience. <br/><br/>Service was good. It’s been seven years since this restaurant is running and they are famous for their pav bhaji. Hands down one of the best pav bhaji’s served in dubai and so reasonable . Also they get all their spices and pav transported all the way from India to ensure they can bring the exact taste of the Indian pav bhaji to UAE. and hence the pav they serve with the pav bhaji tasted exactly like the one you get in India and isn’t sweet like the pavs available in UAE. We also had the pani puri, sev puri, masala pav 99 and timepass dosa . I recommend all of the above because I absolutely enjoyed every bite of my meal . Excellent service and super easy on your pockets. It’s one of the hidden gems of UAE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

If you want to experience the food of Mumbai in Dubai then Mumbai express restaurant, in Karama, Dubai is a must-visit. We visited this place for a family dinner on a weekday. The restaurant smells like a street-side cafe with people from all walks of life coming here to relish the authentic taste of Mumbai. The restaurant has adequate indoor and outdoor seating and is perfect for family gatherings. <br/><br/>Our dinner started with a round of Pani puri and was followed by some masala papad, Pav Sandwich, Soya chili and Veg 65. We also tried their 7 Jewel rice and Veg Manchurian for the main course. Mumbi express is well known for its pav bhaji which tastes similar to the one you get at the famous Juhu beach in Mumbai. My favorite was the chickoo shake, with the consistency being not too think but perfect for a heavy fulfilling meal. Definitely, recommend having this. Watermelon juice was also really good.<br/><br/>Ended the meal with the best part - gulab jamuns, which I surprisingly loved!!<br/><br/>Also, love the display shown on the TV which shows how food is made and that its soon arriving! <br/><br/>The ambiance is average but amazing for food and prices like this!<br/><br/>Definitely going back for my street food cravings!

Weekend mornings need to start with a spicy touch to it hence mumbai express...The whole gang of 8-10 ppl went we literally ordered everything Idli, mysore dosa, poha , pineapple sheera, kutchi , pav bhaji,daabeli, misal pav chai , grilled sandwich lassi etc...The over all food is good and spicy really liked the misal pav , daabeli and the spicy pav bhaji( must try ). Bon Appetite!!

Their schzwan fried rice is amazing! It’ll remind you of the ones you see in Mumbai streets but way more hygienic! The staff is super courteous and accommodating, reminds you of home!

Ordered Mumbaiker Nashta ...This is an interesting breakfast option priced at AED 15 after-tax, priced very reasonable with no delivery charges. <br/>Most often, while ordering food from places that offer such food with these price range we come across greasy food which can sometimes compromise the quality. However, the food served here is of very good quality. Overall great place for good quality food :)

I visited this place mainly because of their famed paavi bhaji. I am a huge fan of street food which is why I ended up ordering almost all of my favorites. Paavi bahji, chole bhature, sev Puri and paani puri. Yes, their paav bhaji is outstanding as compared to the rest. I left with a satisfied stomach and no complaints. Friendly staff, ambience is a bit noisy but that's the fun of eating in these small yet really good restaurants. I will definitely recommend this place for days you are craving street food.

Had ordered with great expectation. With Pav bhaji being their best seller, the bhaji was extremely buttery. Excess of butter diluted the taste of the bhaaji even more and makes it bland.
Mediocre food. Best avoided. Over priced

My family and I went for eating authentic chaat and pav bhaji to this place. We sat outdoors and the food and service met our expectations and more!
We ordered vada pav which was freshly fried and served. Pav bhaji and the bread that came with it was just great. Misal pav was also authentic tasting and delicious. We also ordered pani puri and tea. They offered us masala papad with cheese complimentary 👍
Great place to eat with friends and family and service is quick.

they serve masala pav and you have to request them for plain pav if so inclined
the fresh water melon juice was loved by my grandkid and they obliged us by splitting the sweet lime soda into two
The kulfi falooda was a big hit
All in all its a reasonable place in karama and well worth the visit
