Crickets

Neighborhood restaurant/ bar. Looks to have been recently remodeled. A busy Friday Fish Fry so service was very slow. One hour from order to food. My order was fish, perogies and coleslaw. And each was delivered separately. The place was crowded and noisy but I expected that. Cricket is a favorite of a friend and it was ok. But if I never go back, I won't feel bad.

Here on a Sunday afternoon. Service was scarce but there was only one server so that's understandable. Our server did the best she could given the circumstances. Ordered the pretzel and cheese appetizer, black and blue burger, medium and a skinny burger, medium. Presentation was average. Both burgers were over cooked but not bad. My B & B burger tasted funny, it was l, I believe the blue chees. It just wasn't anything to write home about in my opinion. Prices are good for the portions you get. First trip and in no real rush to go back.

Just ordered 18 wing's and a small fry and they were absolutely disgusting! My wings were rubbery and not crispy. Almost as if they were just grabbed out a warm draw and thrown in a take out box and not fried. The chicken skin is white too. They weren't even tossed in sauce. It was poured on. Now I have a weird taste in my mouth, as if the chicken is bad? And trust me, I'm no stranger to chicken wings. I worked at Bdubs for a long time and am completely aware of the process. This isn't right at all and it's cold. You know why? Because it wasn't fried. In the garbage you go... 🤢🤮

Had fun choosing which burgers to get from thei eclectic list of burgers. We chose the Jameson Whiskey Burger (they also have a Jack Daniels burger, but being part Irish..I went with the Jameson one) it was delicious. The burger was grilled to perfection topped with a Jameson Whiskey sauce, Irish cheddar cheese, fried onions, lettuce & tomato. We also got a Browns Backer Burger which was a burger topped with American cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and pickles. Last but not least was the Penguin City fish sandwich. A huge piece of fish that was utterly scrumptious. All these on toasted buns with fair style fries!. We will definitely be back because there are more burgers we want to try!!

Visited this bar for the first time the other day and I wasn’t too impressed. While the food was decent (except for the side salad), the service from the bartender on the outside portion was terrible. She was very inattentive, despite it not being that busy. She talked more with her friends at the end of the bar, rather than tending to customers who needed refills, or checking to see if the food was ok. I had to wave her down several times just for our group to get refills, which really spells terrible customer service. Overall not a bad place, but the service from some of the staff could be improved upon.
