Seoul Market

It's a small korean grocery store with a cafe in it. We went in for the store. Had what we needed. Selection is not huge. The kimchee they sell is top-notch, the best I have found so far. I will review the cafe once i eat there. It smelled and looked delish! The store was messy with stockings and boxes. that's why 4 stars

An not to mention they have a cafe also, will be back to sample some food at a later date. But they have everything you have been searching for when it comes to Asian food. I think I forgot where I was for a moment and before I knew it I was loaded down with product and making my way out of there. They even have the Korean Pear drink, one of the best things ever!!! So tasty!

I’ve been going here with my family for years (5+) we always love it its literally the best place we have been able to get Korean food since we moved her from Korea. Without it I wouldn’t have a lot of my favorite foods as other stores don’t have premade or the ingredients to make them. I love this place!!

The Cafe has the best Bulgogi around and I love the different varieties of Kimchi. The chefs are true Koreans ❤️ and they are experts at their cuisine. I won’t go any place else! Love Love the food and the people that put love into everything they make. They have a small dining room however I always drive there, order and wait and take it to go. I have turned 2 of my adult children on to Bulgogi & Kimchee. They ❤️ it now!

really kind people, great selection for items to buy, and great food! my boyfriend and i ate in, where he had the jajangmyeon and i had the bibimbap (i would recommend getting the bibimbap in the hot stone bowl :))—which had great portions for the price and the taste was amazing! i personally haven’t heard much of authentic korean food in this city, so i’ll definitely go here for all my needs and wants often!

I was intrigued by the rave reviews and decided to try this place when visiting Grand Rapids on a Friday. I was so happy we did! The food was really great, of good-sized portions, and at an affordable price. The place was unassuming and the people there friendly and accommodating. We had the Bulgogi (which was not spicy at all and had a sweet taste to it), stir-fried baby octopus, and soft tofu jjigae (which has seafood in it). All were great, I especially enjoyed the octopus and the jjigae, they were very delicious. Extra rice was $2.5 a bowl.

As a Korean, Seoul market is my #1 place to go for authentic Korean food. Their dishes are just like Korean food you eat in Korea. I’m glad they don’t make “Americanized” Korean food which could be overly salty and sweet. The store is so clean and well organized, the owners are very sweet and always welcoming. I recommend this place for Korean food and Korean groceries! They have it all 👌🏽!
