Only saw upstairs as I was there to see a band, but it was clean, with friendly staff, and the drinks weren't too pricy (£5.50 for a double JD & Coke). Toilets were clean. PA system was more than up to the job - the sound quality was spot on. The only downer was that there is no stage. The band were on the same level as the crowd so if you were at the back you would have no chance of seeing anything. Otherwise, no complaints. Even the security guys were super friendly. Would definitely visit again.
