Hey Blackstone Tap! I usually love going to this bar and I considered it my favorite spot in Worcester, until last Saturday. My graduate friends and I wanted to go to our favorite spot (you guys!) one last time before dispersing all over the country in pursuit of jobs. I was the last one to get there, and the bartender asked for my ID at the bar. She scanned it briefly and rudely told me it was a fake. I offered to show her an alternative ID and other forms of verification, but she once again rudely denied. I feel that it's logical for businesses serving alcohol to have a method of verifying IDs other than a personal judgement. How did she know it was fake? Does she know all out-of-state IDs by heart? So anyway, I would like to thank you guys for robbing us of our last wish to make memories at your establishment. To the bartender who said "she's been doing this for a long time": maybe you haven't been "doing it" long enough or you'd be better at your job!
