Danny's Breakfast Place

Had my little brother pick up my food because I’m working from home. They overcharge him, don’t give him a receipt, and send him with the wrong food. I call back and they advise me to bring the plate back and they’ll remake. I say that he can’t make it back today because I have work until 4 and that I’d prefer my money back. They tell me I can come tomorrow and insist on me bringing the plate back…. Tomorrow. So it seems like they’re more worried about whether or not I bring the plate back rather than making things right. Especially if they mention it 3x in a conversation. Like sure let me hold on to this breakfast until tomorrow so you can make sure I didn’t eat anything and trash it right after. To top things off they didn’t believe that they overcharged me. Customer service is horrible. News flash, nobody wants to scam someone for a $11 breakfast. Treat me like a paying customer, not a scam artist.

Normally I would give this place a 5 star but since reopening I don't get the same vibes like from before. They would interact with the costumer and had a way of making you feel like family even if you only went once every 3 months. They new so many peoples names by heart and just had a way of making you feel like you were having breakfast at grandmas house. The food was also spot on and the prices are amazing. Since reopening the prices are still fair but the homey feeling is gone. We didn't need to wait to be seated so that was a bonus and decided to seat outside. The waitress went straight to what do you want to drink? ...no good morning or introduction. A different waitress brought our food out and our waitress only came back to give us our bill. No one checked on us. The food was ok they might have a new chef because I always get French toast from them because they had a way of making them without tasting any eggs and that is no longer true the bacon used to be crispy yet chewy and today it was just crunch. I will be going back only to see if it was just an off day. And will update
