Sat at table 16 x4 of us took advantage of free starter deal corn starter was amazing.
Crispy chicken sandwich was HUGE Special new yorker was great too.
Ample seating too lovely meal team were great too thank you all.

Yet again has had a great time a the gate house staff very friendly and helpful apart from they won’t finger my chicken and get the bones out for me especially if it Talisha doing it had a great evening 10/10

Brilliant service, warm friendly family atmosphere. Great food, good reasonable prices for both food and drink. Plenty of choice. All good fresh cooked produce. Plenty of parking. Plenty of seating for large parties or family dining split between 2 areas and a separate bar/main pub area where you can also eat and watch the sport. Really nice place to visit. Highly recommend

We love this place ,just been and they have the Halloween stuff out and face painting ,kids loved it ,it's a nice walk round and the gruffalo but it excellent for smaller kids

Arrived at 915 for Sunday breakfast and place closed despite advertised hours saying opening at 9.

The Gatehouse is exactly what I needed! I've been busy with DIY on top of working so I had a craving for pub lasagne, chips and a bottle of wine... i got it! The food was fine and so was the service! I didn't need fancy dining, nor did I want it! I needed to eat a beefy, cheesy meal, casually and that's what I got. A bonus was the smile, kindness and generosity from the bar staff who went out of their way and helped bring the numerous drinks to my table.
Keep up the great work, Gatehouse! Allow the kitchen staff more time to grill the lasagne and the allow the waiting staff more time to smile. Those finishing touches will transform you to outstanding!

Not been here for a while but glad we decided to drop in tonight for food. Even though very busy food came out pretty quickly and must say it was red hot and very tasty.
5 if us ate and all were very happy with our meals and service received
Will not be leaving it so long to return that's for sure
