Great traditional pub with a great traditional pub atmosphere. Karaoke is on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday which is always entertaining. Sunday you can get the best Sunday dinner in town for a very reasonable price and personally I highly recommend the cheeseboard which are also Amazing. Staff are a mixed bunch of characters who are always very welcoming and the Land lady one of the hardest working women in town is a lovely young lady called Lisa. I highly recommend the Wheatsheaf to anyone either local or visiting the city.

Nice Pub, good atmosphere with a back back with definitely comes in handy on a match day! Lisa & all the staff are so welcoming & friendly. They also offer a wide selection of drinks. Sunday Lunches are great too! 🫶🏼
