The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Cute place, plenty of outdoor seating. Interior is on the smaller side, but makes everything feel more intimate and homey. I have been there for both brunch and lunch on multiple occasions, so incredible with the quality of the food! Have tried something different each time. The chef is amazing always outdoing himself.

I went here with my boyfriend and it was our first date in Winter Haven. We wanted some place that feel cozy and original. And my boyfriend recommended this place. It was so romantic and super cozy. The entrance has hanging lights which gives you a warm welcome feeling. Inside, they have tables already set and it feel so romantic. Their menu changes every week/day because it’s super fresh. The server was wonderful and recommended us a few options. I would recommend bringing family and friends here. Update: Thursday, December 22, 2022 It’s been a very long time since we came back here since we moved to Apollo Beach. But this place is so special to me. My boyfriend and I came here for our first date. The food here is so fresh and their menu always changes so you never get bored. We came by today since we are in town and they welcome us with open arms (we arrived 30 minutes before closing). Mandy is such an amazing waitress. She is super friendly and welcoming! Tonight’s dinner is super delicious and flavorful, as always. My boyfriend and I love coming here because it feels like home. The environment is very romantic, quiet, and relaxing. 100% recommend coming here for a night out, date night, holiday, family dinner, etc. Update: October 19, 2023 This place is special to my boyfriend and I. Everytime we go anywhere near here, we always go out of our way to come here. The food, the atmosphere, the service is outta this world. They change their menu every time we come and each flavor blend in so well with the food. We enjoy the feeling of home and the welcoming feeling of everyone. This is such a hidden gem and they should get more recognition.

The best way I can describe my experience with Nutwood is this beeing a place which can one day, by some crazy chance, be visited by one of those wandering Michelin Guide inspectors and actually receive an unexpected Michelin star. Everything about them feels unique, from the way the house is designed to the dishes they serve. The food is outstanding. The service is kind and knowledgeable. The menu is totally different from anything you see around in such a way that you can feel there's a culinary artist behind it. My husband and I have been really impressed with them! We would definitely go back and recommend this place to anyone looking for unique, flavorful, high standard food.

Michelin starred chef owner. Quiet and lovely on patio but interior is small and likely too cramped for me. I almost never order chicken because usually bad but omg this chicken is to die for and not at all salty. Sorbet is homemade and not over flavored. Not very close to us, but we will make a special trip to try something else potentially amazing. A hidden gem.

Probably some of the best food in all of Winter Haven. The staff and chef there know what they are doing. You can't go wrong with any of the food items there. Always fresh and exciting new food options. I recommend the burger special a the kale salad at lunch. Also, the best brunch around on Sundays. If they have it, get the cinnamon roll.

We were drawn by the reviews but when we pulled up the restaurant was very unassuming. We were greeted outside with a host asking if we had a reservation and we confirmed that we did. The host immediately showed us to our table- and already we knew by the atmosphere and food that we were in the right place. The water and wine service was impeccable. Mandy offered the specials and a few recommendations (two of which we took advantage of) and all were beyond delicious. Highly recommend, save room for bread pudding dessert!
