Ruby Tuesday

First time here in at least 5 or 6 years.. Not only was the steak cooked perfect and the salad bar was extremely cold (perfect) and filled perfect but we had excellent service as well. Cassidy made sure we never got below half a glass and had great manners! Will definitely add this back to our regular restaurants

We decided to go out for dessert. Made the mistake of choosing to go to Ruby Tuesdays. In an almost empty dining room with the exception of one party of twenty, was told that there was a wait of twenty minutes or more to just be seated. Asked if we could go to the bar to have dessert. We were shown the way. As we sat down it was very quickly brought to our attention that we would not be served any faster there that the " dessert " we would have ordered we would still have a long wait. Discouraged ,we left. As i was leaving the thought came to me. Why would this establishment have such a large parking lot knowing that they couldn't ever serve that amount of people. Moved up the street to the texas steakhouse. There we were greeted warmly and sat where we ordered. Lovely experience. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I eat out at least three times a week. I have now crossed ruby's off my list.

Have been coming for years because of the salad bar. First, we were given menus and had to seat ourselves. We ordered our drinks and were told they were making sweet tea, and never got a cup. Ordered our food and both got salad bar. The spinach was brown and molded at the bottom and plain nasty. Got the manager and showed him and he made them take it up but left the nasty tongs. The blue cheese dressing looked old and had a yellow tint. No silverware on the table either. Our food arrived and my rare steak was only rate on 1/4 of it and the rest medium rare and full of fat. Worst experience here.

Employees are truly what makes your business in my opinion. Yes, kinda hard to find all perfect associates but this restaurant does a great job in making the customers feel welcome and appreciated. I normally go into here and have my lunch and get out. Food was great and service was excellent.  Bathroom was clean and no bad odors which everyone needs once in a while and it shouldn't be an unpleasant experience.

Ouch! Took a chance after reading some really good reviews. My food was fine. Waitress fine. The wife ordered the French Dip sandwich. It came out with something I guess they thought was cheese. The sliced beef was sopping wet. Still don't know in what goop they bathed the beef. The bun was so soaked with it, it fell apart. The manager heard the complaint; said she was sorry for the problem. Comp'd the wife's portion. The replacement came out looking better. Oh, don't bother asking to sample the soups. They simply can't do it. I don't quite get that.

I love this place. My husband thinks it's depressing. I think that's a company-wide problem. They are all extremely dated and lacking in the ambience department. But that salad bar, though! Sliders are good and drinks are cold, you pretty much serve yourself and can eat immediately when you get the salad bar. It's rather dark in the main dining room, but you can sit by a window in the bar area.
