My wife and I tried the award winning "Smash Burger" and I can see why it got top spot. A great juicy flavoursome burger with classic chips and salad on the side. The hotel itself is great. Nice modern atmosphere for both families to have dinner and mates for drinks and watching footy.

Dinner and wine. Staff didn’t really have any idea what was Gluten Free GF on the menu. Had a deconstructed burger and it was definitely not worth the money. Wine was good. Staff friendly overall. Try one of the motel restaurants like Percy’s if you want a great meal.

First time having a Beef snitty.. apparently it's only a SA thing but I had to try it.

And absolutely massive! And I only got the small size, great little pub with nice outdoor beer garden, heaters and TVs to show the sports, good little hidden gem.

We called in for drinks and asked for a menu to look at with the view to returning for lunch the next day. The place is being renovated which is ok but staff seemed largely disinterested in providing any level of customer service, we won’t be back. Hopefully Whyalla has more to offer than this, as what we have seen so far it seems a great town.

Had your delicious famous burger for lunch, it was great!
Later on I had a hot chocolate made by one of the front bar ladies. This was probably one of the best hot chocolates I've had in my life! Thanks!

Absolute poor form for a gluten free option pizza, I mean you pay more for less of a meal as it is, surely you could at least put the sauce to the edge. Left so disappointed, hungry and shocked that they thought this was acceptable to be served.

Wasn’t the great experience. Ordered a few meals and drinks and staff forgot about half the order and we had to follow up a few times. Staff seemed very disinterested. The burger tasted cheap, didn’t even eat a quarter of it. Chips were also cold when they were served to us. Schnitzel and mushroom gravy was great though. Probably won’t stop in again. The atm is also only PayWave. No way to swipe or insert your card.
