What a fantastic place just off the main street of uptown Whittier. Excellent tapas menu with generous portions and a full page of options from basic to complex. Spain/Mexico fusion vibe and menu. Really enjoyed everything I tried. All the food is made fresh to order by clearly talented and creative chefs.

My friend brought me here for my birthday. She had never been there before and loved it. We ordered the skirt steak - cooked to perfection topped with an amazing spicy chimichurri and creamy sauce. Our sides consisted of mac and cheese (probably wouldn’t order again even though it wasn’t bad), and corn esquites. Very good but what made our meal was the grilled bone marrow rajas with grilled bread. Phenomenal! All in all, it was an enjoyable evening accompanied by exquisite food. I will return soon with my husband for date night.

Always happy with the food and service here! Kale salad, bacon dates, tacos (pork belly, and the "cheeseburger" taco), plus the French toast dessert!! So good!! Service is great, servers are always super busy, but all of them are available to help you. It can get very loud, but the people are having a good time! Thank you, I always recommend Phlight!

The food is DELICIOUS!!!! Highly recommend this locally owned restaurant. Every time I come back, try something different and I am never disappointed. Great service, delicious food and drink.
I asked to sit outside but it was cold and changed my mind. The host accommodated my request with no problem, greatly appreciated it.

Really delicious food and a lot to choose from. My girlfriend and I had trouble picking items to eat because everything sounded amazing but I will say that everything we ended up ordering was delicious. The staff was very friendly. I will be coming back here.
Update: stopped here again a 2 years later and the food is still amazing. This time we had a party of 4 and I'll say these plates were designed for only 2 people. Make sure to double your order if eating with more than 2. The bone marrow is crazy good, but we also had the fish, burger, tacos, mushrooms and a few other things. A+

The food and dessert would have been better warm. The skirt steak was a bit chewy. The Brussel sprouts could have used garlic salt. The pork taco 🌮 was a bit cold. The dates with tamarind sauce was the best. The wine 🍷 with pomegranate and creme brûlée was good.

First time at this location and it was really good. Great customer service and food was ready to pick up as estimated. We got the fish and chips and the fish sandwich both really good
