10 out of 5 stars. Finally , found the perfect gelato place for me. No sugar coma for you . Not overwhelming sweetness on their gelatos unlike other gelato places. Owner is creative and know how to think outside the box. They change their menus so you won't get bored. Some of my favorites: Lavender, earl gray, ube . They have seasonal drinks that were awesome too.

This store is amazing! I came here to get a custom graduation cake for my son. I wanted a two layer cake and NO other store would do. Chillato took my order and the flavors were amazing. Top layer was Ferraro Rochers/Tiramisu. Bottom Cookies and cream/chocolate. The owners (can’t remember the names 😢) were wonderful to work with and offered helpful suggestions for transport and flavors. Highly recommend.

Not many ice cream places to pick from when you’re in Northeast Queens. This place is the absolute best. This is a dedicated ice cream store and has the best Italian ice cream you can get out here. The staff is friendly and generous with samples and we got the large cup with 3 scoops along w waffle cone inside. The salted caramel, tiramisu and Ferrero Rocher flavors were our picks this time. Truly a gem and worth the trip out to Whitestone for this ice cream. Inside seating ambiance is pretty cool also

Besides being a fantastic, local shop that serves a quality product, Chillato is a great place to have a birthday party! We just had my daughter's 9th birthday here with 11 of her friends. The staff was beyond enthusiastic and just knew exactly what to do and when to do it. The girls made their own Gelato step by step and got to see the whole process. Then, they were able to dip and decorate mini cones to take home and finished off by enjoying the Gelato they made with toppings. It was unique, engaging and fun. It was so great to be able to have a party where I could leave the fun to the professionals! Chillato is a hidden gem in our community. Thank you so much for a great birthday party!
