Benihana

I don’t usually review chains but Benihana is a little different. Benihana is a great weekend or Friday night dinner because you get amazing food and get to watch the food cook right in front of you. The prices are a little crazy, for example my main dish was 40 dollars. The price is definitely worth it in my opinion because everything I have when I got to Benihana is delicious. The drinks is a little bit of a problem, I had 2 drinks all night only because the waitress came by 2 times. Other than being thirsty the food makes my mouth water even now so I do recommend Benihana.

I have been to a lot of hibachi restaurants around the US. This is probably one of the worst ones. I went on a Wednesday night with no reservation. I didn’t have to wait long, just for a hostess to show up after 5 minutes. I ordered the mango lemonade and Rocky’s choice. The mango lemonade was okay but I wouldn’t order it again. Also no one got their drinks until after soup and salad. Most of the food was okay but lacked flavor. The salad dressing was t good. The portion amount for dinner was way smaller than any other restaurant, I usually have plenty of leftovers but I had no leftover hibachi for the first time I’ve ever eaten at a hibachi restaurant. For the price point it absolutely wasn’t worth it! Also the “vegetables” was a slice of zucchini and a very small portion of onions given at different times. Save your money for a different hibachi restaurant.
