What a happy random find. We were looking for an independent coffee shop while traveling through the area. Oh happy day; we found Junk and Java. Probably the best coffee of our New England trip. Not only was the coffee great, but the red pepper bagel was phenomenal. I sure hope it is on our trip back!!

Best coffee shop in the world!!!! this is true and I've been looking. Options galore and the menu is posted several different places so, even if you are a first timer, there is no guessing about what is what and what they have. So many flavor options for added syrups and the coffee is very good! Very unique and welcoming environment. Staff are knowledgeable about their products and made suggestions and gave us time to think through what we wanted. The gluten free fat bomb was delicious, they have kombucha on tap, and bakes goods. I wish I lived closer because I would come back again and again.

Stopped here for coffee when visiting Westerly. Service excellent, latte and chai latte were delicious. Excellent customer service and friendliness, very child friendly. Patrons also friendly. Will definitely come back when visiting RI. Thank you! My 3 year also thought her vanilla steamer was one of the best she’s had and she’s a tough critic :)

The Americano tasted really good. The savory scone with butter hit the spot. The ambiance is fun and interesting. Lots of board games to play, fun music in the background, you can read your book or use your laptop with comfort. Fun spot, recommended!

I was on a family vacation when I stumbled upon this funky and eclectic cafe and I am so glad I did. The staff were incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was fun and inviting, and the coffee was absolutely delicious - so much so that I visited the cafe every morning while we were in town!

I’m from Florida and am visiting friends in Rhode Island. I google searched local coffee shops and immediately fell in love with Junk & Java’s menu, when I arrived their shop was so beautiful and the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. Their menu is extensive and I had such trouble just choosing what I wanted, I wanted it all! I ordered a fruit smoothie (strawberry, blueberry and mango was my choice! So good!) and I also ordered a chocolate chip muffin, along with an iced caramel coffee with added almond milk. Everything I ordered was SO DELICIOUS! If you’re looking for a coffee shop this is it. This shop is also incredibly family friendly, Lego blocks, books and toys to keep children entertained. The staff was so kind and welcoming too!

Such a cool vibe at this shop! It was my first time visiting and I was so surprised when I walked inside. It has an eclectic style that works so well and makes it fun! Plenty of space to meet up with a group for fun or sit down and hammer out some work solo. I loved how they had bins of legos scattered around that anyone could play with. Food and drinks were awesome! Would definitely recommend!

What a gem of a coffee shop! Not only are the coffees excellent, the treats are too. I had what is hands down the BEST pistscchio muffin I have ever had, at Junk & Java! In addition there are numerous board games to enjoy w/ friends as well as a chess game with the largest pawns I've ever seen, making the time there delightful - try the "pun" game, LOL!

I absolutely love eveything about Junk and Java. The atmosphere and vibe is cozy, eclectic and fun. Love the checker/chess board tables, the plants and mirrors. The outside seating area is also adorable. The staff is so friendly especially Will, he is always upbeat, positive and a pleasure to chat with. Some of my favorite beverages are: Tumeric Chai Tea, the PB Cup Latte and I love making my own protein shake concoctions. Additionally, the Asiago bagels and house made peanut butter protein balls are AMAZING. This is by far my favorite Cafe in the Westerly/Watch Hill area.

I live in CT, but when we were visiting our family friends in Westerly, they took us to Junk and Java, the aesthetic was amazing. Definitely my favorite coffee house ever. There’s a Central Perk-like couch for any Friends fanatics like me. The aesthetic is boho-chic/vintage. I just adore the vibe
