The floors were sticky.. The cashier was not exactly helpful or nice. And I was not informed that for $9, it DOESN'T include a drink or fries..just the sandwich. Not a good visit which is unfortunate because I do/did enjoy eating here before..

When I walked into Miami Grill, I had somewhat of high expectations. Being that I eat at City Place quite often, I wanted to try something new. Walked myself over with a couple of pals to give it a shot. The first thing that overwhelmed me was the amount of pictures of Miami plastered all over the walls. I enjoyed this element however being a local Floridian; there's nothing like that good ol' Florida pride. With that being said, I was feeling good about this place; the cashier was nice and the food advertised didn't seem bad.
I ordered a 5 piece set of buffalo wings, just the wings. No drink, no fries. My total came out to be almost $7. Their location is in the downtown area so the price didn't surprise me that much. I sat down with my posse waiting for my food. I got it to-go just in case we needed to make a quick exit. They called my name and I got up to receive my order. The plastic bag with the styrofoam container placed neatly inside secured my meal and I was ready to dig in. Mouth watering, stomach growling, I unwrapped the plastic bag, opened the box, and there she was. 5 wings that were the size of those canned Vienna sausages, you know the little hot dogs you make finger food out of? In other words, they were the smallest wings I've ever seen. They rattled around the box since there was so much room; it was such a waste of a big container like that. They were courteous enough to give me 5 celery sticks, so I wasn't completely going to starve. However, $7 for wings that looked like the size of my thumb was a rip off to me.
So after sucking the bone dry of each wing I decided to buy a side of fries. Fries were almost 3 bucks. Again, I was expecting like, a basket of fries like most restaurants do. But you know what they say: fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Put before me was a tiny square plate of fries... I wanted to cry. I spent almost $10 at Miami Grill, only for my hunger to not be satisfied.
I ate the flimflam of a meal I paid for and was getting ready to head out. Even though my experience there was unsatisfactory, I wanted to clean up my area before I left since I still respect the employees that put their time and effort in that sham-shack. My eyes are searching the Miami themed walls for a trash can, but they are failing to find one. I get up and search the store, check every corner; there is none. Where does one go about in throwing away their waste? I ask an employee to assist me with my search, and she tells me there is one located near the soda machine. At last! What I've been waiting for! I can dispose of my garbage and leave this wretched place with their tiny wings and overpriced french fries. I head over to the place she directed to only to find, the world's smallest garbage can. It wasn't even at that tier of garbage can, more like waste basket that you put in your bathroom for your used tissues and empty toilet paper rolls. It was as if I was Gulliver in the land of the Lilliputians; everything is small and I am the giant. My over sized styrofoam box wouldn't have fit, and I wasn't going to just place the box atop the waste basket. Luckily my friend found a city trash can right outside the store, so my waste was successfully taken care of.
I left that restaurant disappointed and made a fool of. Although the food itself was not terrible, the size and portion they give you was. There have been quite a few restaurants that have come and gone at that venue, and I wonder how long Miami Grill will last. My suggestion is to bring Cheeburger Cheeburger back, since the food was rockin' and you can get a little cardboard 50's car with your meal. What can I get with my meal at Miami Grill? Oh just a couple of celery sticks..
Stop the tiny wings. Stop the lack of trash cans. Bring back Cheeburger Cheeburger.

Great Burgers and Wings. You know the food is good when you see employees from local restaurants (burgerfi and panera) eating there as well. Service is A+++++. Very clean.

One of my favorite fast food restaurants to go to, very affordable and very delicious, a vast variety of foods to choose from and beverage machine with hundreds of options to choose from as well as alcoholic beverages, The best service staff and managers around.
