Isabela Seafood

WoW the taste of the food was awesome! Would of like to see two pieces of grilled fish with my meal instead of one for $14. I went there 04/01 with my friend he pulled out a $20 and I pulled out my card, the lady took the $20 as her tip instead of subtracting the $20 from the bill and charged my card for whole meal which was crazy I didn't complain but I will not be going back.. that is robbing people! The food was good but that interaction put a bad taste in my mouth!

I gave Isabela two chances, and that was it. We went with family members to enjoy authentic Cuban seafood a week ago. Since we were so many I thought the eternity it took to have my plate in front of me was justified. My yellow rice in particular was undercooked, but the fried whole snapper was good and my parents’ cherna was very good too. I thought I had to give the restaurant a second chance and went today for a takeout order of fried huevas de pescado (fried fish roe) and a fillet of cherna (breaded wreck fish fillet) Now the yellow rice was average, almost to overcooked. My cherna was, by taste, from a week before; not only it was old, but it was actually spoiled! So, that was the second and probably last chance I give them. My take? They are inconsistent with their food, and yes, they are slow to serve. Conclusion: Not recommended
