Imo's Pizza

Big shout out to Imo's pizza in Waterloo for "catering" my buddies wedding. The pizza (ordered over a week in advance) was late. Then the delivery driver held it hostage in the vehicle demanding an additional $100 gratuity before they would unload it. The groom who was handling things was busy so the bride and some friends had to scramble to come up with the cash. But once it was paid they literally said well there it is, unload it. So the bride and a few others had to unload and carry it in themselves. By the time they had finished the groom had returned, and had an envelope with $250 in it for a tip. But after that, well, way to loose an extra $150 on your tip. Pretty pathetic....

Ordered for contactless delivery and the driver never notified or knocked on door to let us know he dropped the food off. Was sitting outside for a good hour. Contacted the store and very rude woman answered saying we should have left a massage for him to knock on door even though this should be common decency and sense if you are a delivery driver. So thank you imos my food was drastically called and a waste of $50 on 1 pizza.

First time trying pizza in the St. Louis area and heard the hype of IMO’s pizza. Hmmm. Don’t believe the hype. Not sure what it is, but pizza it isn’t. The cheese is horrendous. The sauce has way too much sugar making it oddly sweet. The crust is well plain super market crust. We hoped it was a mistake but that’s pizza in these parts. No thanks. I’d rather find a Chicago style. Or New York style or any other style than STL style. Recommend passing on this place plenty of local pubs that can make a far superior pie.
